    Small, software-driven earth stations. Used for the reliable transmission of data, video, or voice viasatellite.

    It deploys a network of 2880 VSATs to connect its off-site ATMs . Using 360E VSATs for other interactive data applications. BSNL VSAT provides single platform for all communicationneeds.

    Virtual Private Networks

    It extends a private network and the resources contained inthe network across public networks .

    All branches are linked over a world class IP-VPN. It allows a wide array of customer-centric solutions such asremote account access and Internet banking.

    Cloud Computing

    Technology that uses the internet and central remote serversto maintain data and applications. SBI has tied up with TCS to provide banking services torural India . One single server is running the database of 52 banks.

    Leased Lines

    A leased line connects two locations for private voice and/ordata telecommunication service. A reserved circuit between two points. Provided by BSNL. Used for internal communication in branches. Connects various branches all over India.
