MASS INTENTIONS
We have many open Mass intentions for 2015. There are many
Masses available starting next week! Call Karen in the Parish
Office or stop in to schedule your Masses. 440-937-5363.
MEAL FOR THE HOMELESS SHELTER
It is our privilege to prepare dinner for the guests of the homeless
shelter at St. Joseph’s Church in Lorain. We are asking you to
provide: sloppy joes, buns, baked beans, cabbage & noodles
and dessert. Please drop off your menu items in the Holy Trinity
Church parking lot TODAY Sunday, January 4th from 3:30 to
4:00 PM. The items should be cooked but do not need to be hot
and please package for spill proof transportation. Thank you for
your contributions!
NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS
The St. Vincent DePaul Commission is collecting non-perishable
food items today, January 4th. Please contribute if you can.
Place all of your donations in the back of the church by the choir
loft stairs.
BAPTISM PREPARATION CLASS
Baptism Preparation Class will take place on Tuesday, January
6th at 7 PM in the Parish Center. Please call Roger Camp in the
Parish Office at 937-5363 with any questions or to register for
the class. A Baptism Preparation Class is necessary if you have
not attended a class within the last 5 years or if this is your first
child to be Baptized.
“They were overjoyed at seeing the star, and on entering the house they
saw the child with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did
him homage. Then they opened their treasures and offered him gifts of
gold, frankincense and myrrh.” Mt 2:10-11
Next week is the National Collection for The Catholic University of
America. This is the national university of the Catholic Church in the
United States. More than 4,000 students directly receive scholarship
aid from this Collection. Please use the envelope in your bi-monthly
packets for this collection.
DOUGHNUT SUNDAY Next Sunday, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will be available for purchase after all Masses. Cost is $8 per dozen. Proceeds benefit the 8th Grade Washington DC Trip.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
BUS TRIP
The Knights of Columbus Rather Ragan Council 3269 of Avon is spon-
soring a March for Life bus trip to Washington DC. The bus leaves the
K of C Hall, 1783 Moore Road, Avon at 8 PM on Wednesday, January
21st and returns to the Hall on Thursday, January 22nd at 11 PM.
Cost is $65 for adults, $25 for High School students and $45 for Col-
lege students. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied
by an adult. If interested, please call quickly to reserve your spot.
Checks should be made payable to the Knights of Columbus Council

LIVING WITH BENEDICT RETREAT
The Benedictine Monks of St. Andrew Abbey in Cleveland, Ohio (near
University Circle) invite single men between the ages of 19-45 to expe-
rience Benedictine monastic life during a “Living with Benedict” re-

ENGAGED COUPLES
Holy Spirit Parish in Avon Lake is pleased to announce they will hold a
PRE-CANA Day for couples preparing for marriage. Attendance is lim-
ited to 25 couples and does sell out so please register early. The day
will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the Holy Spirit Family Life
Center from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (including Mass). Cost for the day is
$65 per couple and includes breakfast and lunch.

Don’t Forget that Eucharistic Adoration will resume
at 10:30 on Thursday, January 8th. If you have 10 or
15 minutes or 30 minutes or even an hour, come and
spend some time before the Blessed Sacrament.
There is no schedule, no rules, no commitment, just
spend time in deep conversation with Jesus. You will
