dropped, we are looking ahead to warmer days and have begun

planning for our 2016 summer program! We would love to get

Snow Day Information When the Bennington School District closes for a snow day, the All

Star Kids program will also be closed. Tuition for the snow day will

be prorated on the following Tuition Express deduction period.

In the event that All Star Kids should need to cancel care on a

consolidation day due to extreme weather conditions, a text alert

will be sent by 9:00pm the night before. Reports will also be made

to KETV & WOWT to broadcast the cancellation of the consolidation

day. No tuition will be collected for cancelled consolidation days.

TEXT MESSAGE ALERTS & REMINDERS We utilize a text message alert system to send out reminders, information, and alerts to all of our families, simultaneously. Some

examples of the alerts we send out include consolidation enrollment/location/lunch reminders, tuition reminders, newsletters, snow

day alerts, registration reminders, etc.

BULLETIN BOARDS & INFORMATION AT SITE A bulletin board is posted at each site location that displays important and relevant program information throughout the year. In

addition to this, hard copies of all forms are available at each site location, per request. Our staff members would also be happy

to answer any questions you might have or to provide you with any program information you are in need of!

SEASONAL FAMILY NEWSLETTERS Newsletters containing reminders, important information, photos, and other exciting program highlights are sent out on a seasonal

basis to further provide communication to our families. All newsletters are sent out via our text message alert system and are

also available on our foundation website!

In 2015, our current staff obtained over 460 combined in-service training hours in areas related directly to caring for your children!

Training topics included developmentally appropriate behavior practices, caring for children with special needs, CPR/First Aid, STEM curriculum, & much more!

Enrollment sheets will become available approximately two weeks prior to each consolidation day at your site location.

Reminders for all consolidation day enrollment periods will be sent out via our text alert system and posted on our bulletin

boards at site-please be sure to enroll for our text alerts if you have not done so already!

To enroll, please complete an enrollment form & return to your Site Director prior to the listed enrollment deadline.

A deadline will be listed on each consolidation day form. After the listed deadline, late enrollments or enrollment cancellations

will not be approved as we staff according to how many children we have enrolled for each consolidation day.

If you miss the deadline to enroll, we will not be able to provide care for you. If you miss the deadline to cancel your enroll-

ment, you will still be charged for care regardless of whether your child attends program that day or not.

(Cost for consolidation day care is $30/first child & $25/additional child, per day)

Our tuition is based off of an annual rate that is broken down into equal biweekly payment deductions.

All non-school days have already been deducted from the annual rate, therefore the only time your equal biweekly

payment deduction amount would change is:

If a snow day were to occur (your account would be credited)

- or - If you were to attend a consolidation day

(extra charged added to your account)

Tuition is based on each enrollment category and is due regardless of attendance at site.

To change your program status, you will need to complete a “Change of Status/Withdrawal Request Form”

Your completed form can be submitted in person at site, via email to jlarocca@bennps.org, or by fax to 402-238-2185.

Once your form has been processed, you will receive a copy

of your approved request via email.

All status changes require 10 business days notice.

There is a $50 fee that is assessed for all contract changes and cancellations

YES! We are separate from the school district, therefore all absences must be reported to us!

If your child is going to be absent from our afternoon program, please call your site phone to let our staff members know!

All messages are checked daily, prior to taking attendance, therefore it is acceptable for you to leave a message or to text your site phone to communicate your child’s schedule with us.
