About Savania ChinaSavania works in the Data Directorate in DfE where he leads on department-wide development and delivery of data initiatives. He was heavily involved in work to prepare DfE for GDPR. This included updating the GDPR Toolkit for schools. Savania has more than 14 years’ experience leading data initiatives, fi rst in local government and the last 10 in central government – with Land Registry, Defra, and now DfE.
About Amber BadleyAmber Badley, Founder and Director of Firebird LTD holds a Master’s Degree in Information Rights Law and Practice and has over 17 years’ experience in the data protection fi eld in the public sector, including over a decade as a Data Protection Offi cer. Amber has worked with schools for many years and is the Data Protection Offi cer for several schools in the South West.
