Dates: Friday, March 16th and Saturday, March 17, 2018 Location: Eaglewood Resort & Spa, 1401 Nordic Road, Itasca, Illinois 60143 Participation: To maximize impact, we ask schools to commit to sending a minimum of two (2) or more representatives. Deadlines: Principals should complete and sign purchase orders for the number of representatives from your school by Monday, February 19, 2018. There will be absolutely no more registrations accepted after Friday, March 2, 2018. Pricing: The cost of this two-day conference is $425.00 per person, which includes a double occupancy room. If a person requests a single room, the price is $475.00. Fees include: overnight stay, meals, and all materials. For your convenience, if you are not staying overnight, the cost for this conference is only $375.00. Please be advised that Title I, Supplemental General State Aid (SGSA) and Professional Development funds can be used to pay for this conference. Transportation: Bus transportation to and from the conference site will be offered at a rate of $20.00 per person upon request for overnight participants only. Buses will pick up from assigned locations. Transportation requests should be indicated on the registration form. Dear Principals Youth Guidance will be hosting its 25th Annual Parent Leadership Conference on Friday, March 16, and Saturday, March 17, 2018. The conference will be filled with engaging workshops that provide parents with tools and strategies to implement back at their school, home, and community. In addition to our wonderful conference, Friday night will be our Evening of Elegance. This event is a formal affair in which Youth Guidance will present the Parent Leadership award to outstanding parents who go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure all children understand their self-worth and the importance of education. We are requesting that you nominate a parent from your school to receive this award. The parent must be in attendance at the Parent Leadership Conference to accept the award. The deadline for nominations is Friday, February 9, 2018. Exhibit Rules and Regulations

APPLICATION FOR AND ASSIGNMENT SPACE Application for exhibit space must be made on the official application. Priorities for space assignments will

be based on a first come first serve basis. Exhibitors will be notified of any restrictions that affect their space.

INSTALLING, OPENING AND CLOSING EXHIBITS Exhibit set-up is Friday, March 16th at 7:00 a.m. Youth Guidance will not be responsible for securing exhibit

space overnight. Exhibit hours are 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Friday and 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

SUBLETTING SPACE Subletting the assignment or appointment of the whole or part of his/her space by any exhibitor is

prohibited. Exhibitors may not permit any other party to exhibit in his/her space, any goods other than those manufactured or handled by the contracting exhibitor, nor permit solicitation of business by others within

his/her space.

EXHIBIT PERSONNEL Exhibit Committee members must register all participants affiliated with exhibits only. Each person will be

issued an exhibitors badge and must be authorized by the exhibitor to have a direct business affiliation. The Committee reserves the right to limit the number of badges issued to each exhibitor.

FURNITURE The prices quoted include a 6’ draped table and 2 chairs.

BUILDING RULES Signing of the application for exhibit space implies that the exhibitor agrees to obey all rules and regulations

of hotel management, which may now or hereafter be in existence.

LIABILITY Each exhibitor is responsible for his/her own equipment and must keep an attendant in their display area

during the exhibit hours listed. The Agency will not be held responsible under any circumstances, situations occurring as a result of exhibitors accepting assistance from any persons not affiliated with their exhibit

organization, business etc.

GENERAL All matters and questions not covered by these regulations are subject to the decision of management.

These regulations may be AMENDED at any time by the Agency and all amendments that are made shall be equally binding upon publication to all parties affected by them as the original rules and regulations.

Youth Guidance is not responsible for meals. Payment for meals must be submitted by vendor prior to conference to give an accurate count to the hotel. Please contact A. Hill for more details. 312-752-8478

Take I-290 west to the US-20/Lake Street/I-355 exit (Exit #7) toward Joliet. This is the second route 20 exit! (Do not take the first route 20 exit #12 toward York Rd.) Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Turn right (west) onto Lake Street to Swift Road. Turn right (north) onto Swift Road and proceed 1/3 mile to the entrance of Eaglewood, which is on the left.

From O'Hare International Airport

Take I-190 east toward Chicago. Take I-294 south to I-290 west. Take I-290 west to the US-20/Lake Street/I-355 exit (Exit #7) toward Joliet. This is the second route 20 exit! (Do not take the first route 20 exit #12 toward York Rd.) Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Turn right (west) onto Lake Street to Swift Road. From Midway International Airport

From the North
