The knowledge you’ve gained from your education or professional experiences can take you farther than you think. CLEP offers you the opportunity to earn college credit by earning qualifying scores on any of 33 CLEP examinations. The exams are administered at 1,700 colleges, and 2,900 colleges and universities will grant credit for successful scores.

Find out your college’s CLEP policy by contacting your professor, academic adviser, test center or admission office.
Step two:
Read descriptions of all 33 exams and decide which exam(s) to take.
Step three:
Register to take your exam(s) by contacting a CLEP test center on your campus, or nearby, and making an appointment.
