Within the opening sequence you can see Bass’ use of block shapes and black and white, giving an authentic, simplistic look as the credits slide in. He uses non diagetic sound of music and syncs each credit with the beat of the instrumental, which usually is the sound of a trumpet. The use of music also entices the audience for the film. Nearer the end of the title sequence, these block shapes form in a an arm, which relates to the title of the film. This can be seen in the image on the right.
