We provide the Legos, you provide your imagination! Creations will be put on display at the library. Open to all ages, boys and girls! Meets monthly.
PETE THE CAT PARTY! Saturday, April 6 at 10am
We are throwing a party for Pete the Cat! We will have a special storytime featuring Pete the Cat stories, games, craft, and maybe even a snack. A professional-costumed Pete the Cat will make an appearance! Bring your camera, and (if you’d like) personal copies of Pete the Cat for him to autograph! Supplies are limited to the first 100 children.
TODDLER/PRESCHOOL DANCE PARTY Friday, April 12 at 10:00am Come dance at the library! Music establishes an internal rhythm that helps prepare children for the cadence of reading! Follow the librarian’s moves or dance to the beat of your own drum! There will be warm-ups, dancing, a story break, and more dancing!
NO SCHOOL DAY: FAMILY FUN FLICK Friday, April 19 at 10am
There is no school for WBSD on Friday, join us to watch the original animated Disney’s Aladdin! (1992 | Rated G) The live-action remake comes out in theaters on May 24! Bring your own snack and drink!
KETTLE MORAINE SYMP. ORCHESTRA CHILDREN’S STORYTIME Saturday, May 4 at 10am Join us for a orchestra-themed storytime led by the Silverbrook orchestra teacher! There will be some teen musicians present to showcase a variety of stringed instru-ments. After storytime, we will enjoy a craft!
S.T.E.M *Grades 1-5 only
REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Registration begins April 1. Monday, May 6 at 3:45-4:30pm You never know what we’re going to do at a S.T.E.M program, but you do know it will be fun! Takes place in the BI/Board room.
SUMMER READING PROGRAM Join us for our annual Ice Cream Social on June 6 at 6:30pm! Sign-up for the reading program begins on the evening of June 6 as well! Pick up your reading record, and start reading! Earn coupons and prizes for reading! Additionally, there are daily activities for the first 8.5 weeks of summer break! We have storytimes, crafts, movies, performers, educational presenters, Read with Rover, and more!
