(Only necessary for those supplying Trunks) If you’d like to decorate your trunk or tailgate and hand out goodies with our little monsters, please

complete the form and return to KCS. Registration forms are REQUIRED and our deadline for

registration is Friday, October 19th

Participation Requirements:

- Decorate your vehicle using a theme, avoiding gory or scary themes as event is for PK to 4th

grade children.

- Event date Tuesday October 23rd (Rain Date Thursday October 25th

) 6 -7pm

- Cars should arrive at 5:30pm for set-up. Lot will be closed at 5:55pm for student safety.

- Older students participating with Student Organizations or family sponsored vehicles are

encouraged to dress up and participate in decorating fun, but will be encouraged to stay with

parents or advisors at the vehicles as the trick-or-treating activity is for Pre-K to 4th

grade

students.

- We have asked for donations of prizes/candy/prepackaged snacks from families, and donations

collected will be distributed at the time of the event as needed.

Now that it’s October, here are some Uniform Reminders…

While we appreciate fashion and self-expression, please remember that the following are not part

of our KCS uniform and are not permitted at school:

Hoop or dangling earrings

Necklaces~ other than religious medals or crosses

Bracelets

Boots (unless snow or rain boots – which must be accompanied

with school shoes to change into), moccasins, or clogs

Hair coloring of any type

Sweatshirts other than the KCS gym sweatshirts

Nail Polish

Opened back or opened toed shoes

Girls’ shoes with heels higher than 2-1/2 inches

Boys’ sneaker type shoes

KCS Hoodies are for grades 5-8 only. Grades Pre-K through 4 will wear the regular

sweatshirt only.

All polo shirts must have the KCS logo.

Boys’ shoes are to be a sturdy, dress type shoe. “Sneaker shoes” are a violation of our dress

code.

Other Reminders ~ Uniform skirts are to be no more than two inches above the knee.

~Also soda and candy are not allowed in school for snack or lunch. ~

Please take a moment to review these rules with your children and make any necessary adjustments. For a full explanation of our uniform policy, please refer to you Parent/Student Handbook

Students who continue to be in violation of the dress code rules will serve lunch detention.

If you need to stop by school,

please call the office to let us

know when you will be arriving.

Also if you are picking up your

child early, please send in a

note.

Important Information!

Please be aware that personal electronic

devices are not allowed to be used during the

school day.

(If you have a cell phone, it must remain in your

backpack and should not be taken out until you

are off school premises.)

If a teacher sees a student using a cell phone,

etc., it will be taken away from the student and

sent to the office where a parent must pick up

the item.

Students using personal I-pads or

E-readers may do so with permission from their teacher.
