Two-time winner Mumbai Indians will lock horns with Rising Pune Supergiants in the title clash in Hyderabad on Sunday. Sent into bat, KKR were bowled out for 107 runs in 18.5 balls, and Mumbai chased down the target with 33 balls to spare at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Leg-spinner Karn Sharma was the star performer with the ball for Mumbai, returning excel- lent figures of 4/16 - the joint best effort by a spinner in an IPL knockout game, while Jasprit Bumrah provided fine support to pick 3/7 in three overs. Krunal Pandya showed matu- rity, finishing as Mumbai's top scorer with 45 off 30 balls, while Rohit contributed 26. Pandya struck eight boundaries. Mumbai finished the run chase by scoring 111 for four after losing three wickets quickly, including the in-form Parthiv Patel (14) and his opening partner Lendl Simmons (3). At 34 for three, Krunal Pandya joined Rohit and brought Mumbai closer to victory with a 54-run partnership off 40 balls. Mumbai knocked off 16 runs in the 11th over bowled by Piyush Chawla (2/34), and scored eight in the next over to inch closer to their target. Mumbai struck for the second time in the fifth over, removing Narine for 10, thanks to a superb googly by Sharma and wicket- keeper Parthiv Patel did the rest at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Tendulkar meets PM to discuss upcoming biopic NEW DELHI, May 19: Former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss his soon-to-be- released biopic -- 'Sachin, a Billion Dreams'. "I was in Delhi so, I thought it would be nice to brief him about the movie. I told him what the movie is about and he was quite happy and gave me a posi- tive feedback," Tendulkar said after the meeting. "He told me that the film will not only inspire the next genera- tion but through my highs and lows it will tell everyone that challenges are everywhere but that does not mean you surren- der... You overcome those chal- lenges and he said it applies to everyone in life," he added. Directed by James Erskine, the biographical film will release on May 26. "He said 'my best wishes are with you'. The coaching camp and trial matches are being organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu in collaboration with the Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India under the direction & supervision of Dr SD Singh, IGP Jammu whereas Rajesh Gill Chief Prosecuting Officer & Former Ranji Player is the Coordinator of the event. in the early morning, the boys had to go through tough conditioning session, coaching and net practice for three and a half hours to prepare the team for "Indo-Afgan Friendship 3- Day/Night Series" to be held at Greater Noida from May 23, 2017. Later on, in the afternoon session, the probables were divided into two teams namely India Blues and India Reds. And the match of 20 overs between the two teams played, in which India Blues defeated India Reds by 16 runs. Batting first, India Blues scored 136 runs, losing all their wickets. Vikrant Kinni was the top scorer with 53 runs (8 fours), while Ravi Patil and Jaswant contributed 15 and 12 runs to the total respectively. Sports must to channelize energy of youth: Bali Excelsior Sports Correspondent SRINAGAR, May 19: To give a boost to sports activities and to channelize the energy of youth in a positive direction, Health & Medical Education Department is contemplating to organize a mega-State level sports event in the Valley during this season. In this regard a preliminary meeting was chaired here today by the Minister for H&ME, Bali Bhagat, to chalk out a strategy for organizing the event. He said the sports activities are manda- tory for physical as well as men- tal fitness and the Government will devise a strategy to hold regular annual events in future for the benefits of doctors, med- ical students and others across the State in association with concerned sports authorities. Army organizes ‘Run for Fun’ Excelsior Sports Correspondent BARAMULLA, May 19: 'Run for Fun' competition was organized at Chandusa by the Army Camp based at Uplona, here. 200 students of 8 different schools in the neighbourhood participated in the run with great enthusiasm, vigour and zeal. The competition witnessed an unprecedented response from the local populace, who turned up in large numbers to cheer on the runners and even motivated them with words of encourage- ment. This notable initia- tive undertaken by the Army with an aim to encourage the youth to take active part in sports and to build a better rapport and sense of cohesiveness between the Security Forces and the people was a tremendous suc- cess. Representing J&K in Under- 16 Vijay Merchant Trophy, Kanhaiya had scored 295 runs emerging top run getter in India among the wicket-keepers, including a century and a fifty, besides having 11 dismissals behind the wickets. Indian compound team enters final of Archery World Cup SHANGHAI, May 19: India's compound men's archery team today advanced to the final of the season's first World Cup here. The team comprising Abhishek Verma, Chinna Raju Srither and Amanjeet Singh made the final after getting the better of USA's Reo Wilde, Steve Anderson and Braden Gellenthien 232-230 in a close- ly-fought semifinal. Verma then coupled with Jyothi Surekha Vennam to enter the bronze medal play-off in mixed pair event. India earn morale boosting win over Italy ahead of U-17 WC NEW DELHI, May 19: The India U-17 World Cup Squad stunned their fancied Italian counterparts 2-0 in Arizo, Italy, today. The win epitomises the grit and determination of the Indian Colts who have been grinding together since February 2013. Strikes by Abhijit Sarkar (31') and Rahul Praveen (80') led their team to a massive win over the 'Azzuri' in a match largely domi- nated by the Indian Colts in terms of possession and chances creat- ed. India got off the blocks and gave the opposition a tough time. Komal Thatal's 8th minute strike went whiskers past the Italian custodian as India hunted in packs for an early lead. Mumbai Indians breezed intothe final of IPL-10 with a six-wicket win over Kolkata KnightRiders in the Qualifier 2, theirclinical performance making itlook all too easy in the end heretonight.

As soon as he assumes the office at JKCAHQR's Srinagar notification will be issued by the Ombudsman.The clubs in dispute are informed to submit all relevant paperswith the undersigned latest by 30th of May 2017 so that thesame are tabled before the Ombudsman. A time schedule forthe interaction with the Ombudsman will be notified as per theconvenience of the Ombudsman.
