Newsletter Term 4 Week 9 Dear Parents and Carers, Thank you Morning Tea The morning tea will be held on Friday 6th December from 11am, this Friday. Stroud Carols Students from our school choir will help to support the carols in Stroud. Carols are being held on Saturday 7th December and begin at 5:30pm. Ms Parsonage will be attending the carols. School Captains and SRC 2014 Speeches and voting was conducted today for our 2014 captains. Good luck to our candidates; Lachlan B, William M, Paige G, Luke J and Jaylee T. The result of the election will be announced at our Presentation Night on Monday Years K to 4 will have the opportunity to present a small 1 minute speech to their class on Thursday 5th and/or Friday 6th December for possible selection onto SRC for 2014. Students who were on SRC in 2013 are not eligible to be selected in 2014. Voting for year group SRC members will take part on either December 5th or 6th. This voting process will be conducted by the class teacher. Speech Night Our school’s Speech and Presentation Night will be held on Monday 16th December 2014. The night will begin at 5:30pm and be concluded with a BBQ dinner. An expression of interest will be sent out soon for the dinner to help with catering. Year 6 Farewell 4/5/6 will be travelling to Charlestown Square on Tuesday 17th December to go to Laser Tag. Mrs Courtney will be supervising. Mrs Courtney has sent information out and will keep parents updated. Last Day for 2013 The last day for students to attend school for 2013 is on Wednesday 18th December. We will be travelling to Stroud pool for our Rewards Day activity. On this day will have our make-up swimming lesson that was missed due to poor weather.

Annual General Meeting P & C will be holding our AGM on Wednesday 4th December at 5.30pm. All positions will be declared vacant.
