Dude, what happened last night?!Last night the executive staff hadn’t planned an EG-MUN party and whether or not the night was going to be great was entirely up to one self.

Some people went to Copenhagen, some to Elsinore and some didn’t go at all. Some people went to a birthday and some just went to a random club or bar. There has been great confu-sion about where everybody was go-ing and this morning the many many questions still hasn’t been answered. It seems as if everybody was doing different things and the entire EG-MUN was scattered in all directions.

400 tired and still drunk or hung over EGMUN participators had to plan a night out for themselves. When the clock yesterday reached 5 p.m. eve-rybody was running confused around desperately trying to make plans for the night. Everybody was saying different things and going different places but nobody seemed to have anything under control. For ICJ and Press at least the pre-party wasn’t a problem planning out. Both had dinner at the school and then afterwards they went to Elsinore, Copenhagen or home. The dinners were a success but even though ICJ dinner was paid for them the Press dinner of course was much more fun. So fun that people left the ICJ dinner to join the Press and their awesome party!

Alexander Hegelund, president of ICJ has ditched the ICJ dinner to join the Press (woops…)

We’ve been walking around the school asking people what they were doing last night. We asked six people but not one answered the same. The delegates have been rather busy this morning so we were only able to a hold of one to answer our questions – then we asked 3 from Press and two from Staff.

Out of the six people two stayed at home – to participate at a family event and to finish some homework

and a resolution. They were both quite annoyed that they weren’t able to go out.The others went out but they went dif-ferent places – two persons went two different places in Copenhagen and two persons went two different places in Elsinore. Only one out of six went to the recommended party at Park in Copenhagen – which was written on the blog yesterday.

The two who went to Copenhagen went alone and didn’t participate at a pre-party. They both met up with some friends at the parties. On the contrary the two who went Elsinore stated at a pre-party and stayed with the same rather small group of no more than 10 people during the night – though they all met different friends at the clubs/bars.

When we asked if the person had had a fun night every person (who went out) told us that they had a great night but that they now are very tired and some said that it probably would

have been best to stay home – to get a full night’s sleep. Everybody is look-ing forward for tonight but some of the respondents were worried about being too tired from Thursday and Friday night to party hard at the final party of an amazing EGMUN. But no doubt, when we get started drinking and partying all the weariness and fatigue will be completely forgotten.

Take a look at the video from the Press dinner posted on the blog. August from Press is singing Jus-tin Bieber

To host or not to host…

MUN isn’t just a conference about politics; a lot of the experience is also to host or to be the guest in another person’s home.

To come here to Espergærde gym-nasium or to host both takes great amounts of energy and time, so we would like to thank everyone who has spend their time and energy on MUN. But what is it like to host? We have asked some of you how it’s been to host so fare and every-body has been surprisingly positive about their experience. Both the first timers and the experienced MUN participants have been hosting this year. Both hope that hosting will improve their English skills, or were simply looking forward to be speaking English on an almost fulltime basis. Ida Hoffmann from the EGMUN press says: “It’s really great that you can get the opportunity to speak English when you go out and just at home”. Before EGMUN began there was a great pressure from the executive staff on people to host preferably more than one person, some gave in to that pressure because they had the room for it. But some clever folks also figured that it could be to their advan-tage, if the guests who came to live

with them would be total bores then the two could stay at home together while the host could go out and have a good time. Now, we haven’t actually heard of anybody doing this, but the idea is here by available for others to use. As always there is the bicycle confu-sion, this year we have had word of a German girl who is completely lost when it comes to bikes. Sofie from the 3th committee stated following: “She is really bad at riding a bike… she looks really funny. She can’t even lock the bike or anything”. She would like to add that she still had a good time hosting. Over all people have been happy to host, but whether they want to host again next year is another story.

Viktor Emil – President of the GA … A.K.A. ladies’ man!!Men with power have throughout history been able to get any girl they wanted.

That is why the president of the GA at this year’s EGMUN, Viktor Emil Sand Madsen, has turned out to be very popular among the young ladies. At the parties we’ve been told from a re-liable source, Viktor himself, that he’s been getting numerous offers from girls. As he says himself: “Everybody wants a piece of the PGA.”Two of our lovely Press-members ran into Viktor Emil yesterday and he immediately started to talk about his popularity among the girls and he imitated some of the approaches and rolled his eyes. Viktor Emil will be attending the party tonight so girls!: you better bring you’re a-game because tonight is your final chance to hook up with him at this year’s EGMUN!!! We’ll return tomorrow with gossip from tonight’s party where you’ll see if any girls succeeded in the hunt for Viktor Emil Sand Madsen!!By the way, he has a girlfriend which might make the hunt a bit more dif-ficult.

Photo session with Toke ArnoldiA day of hard work and politics can get the best of anybody. This means that when the Press all of a sudden wants to take a beauty shot you’re not always looking like a super-model – which you of course does outside of the EGMUN.

This is exactly what happened with Toke Arnoldi, conference manager. The picture underneath was taken earlier in the conference. Mr. Arnoldi was very unhappy about this and insisted on having another picture taken. That is why he and a photographer from Press went out-side earlier today and had their own little photo session.

Mixing Facebook and politics The General Assembly went extraordinary, and lots of interesting and most of all important topics were debated. However, some showed a higher level of seriousness than others, as you can see below.
