IN SYMPATHY We commend to your prayers Antonina Ferrazzoli, Flora Lesko,

and Rose Marsili,

mother of Dennis (Cindy) Marsili, who died recently. May God welcome them to the joys of Paradise and bring comfort and peace to their families. ADDOLORATA MEETING TODAY The Addolorata Society’s Spring Members’ Meeting will be today, Sunday, March 12 in Marble Hall following the 10:30 AM Mass. Light refreshments will be provided. Bring your rosary. FAITH FIRST FAMILY NIGHT Faith First continues this week with Family Night on Monday, March 13 at 6:00 PM in Marble Hall for Stations of the Cross lead by MSP Youth Ministry. 103rd BIRTHDAY! We send best wishes and congratulations to

Mrs. Frances Massimini ,

who will celebrate her 103rd birthday on March 25. She resides at 1931 Alcoa Drive, Arnold, PA 15068. Please take a moment to say a prayer for her and to send her your good wishes for this wonderful occasion! RENAMING THE FORMER CONVENT Renovations are well on their way inside the ‘Former Convent’ at MSP! We are hoping you will help us with the renaming of this building! The Youth Ministry Program is sponsoring a contest to help in this process. All are welcome to participate during Lent. You will find 2 boxes with ballot forms for you to fill out with your suggested new name for the building. One box will be in the Parish Office and the other will be in the back of church and making an appearance at the Fish Fry each week. The suggestion will be reviewed by Msgr. Begolly and a committee. The winner will be announced during the Easter Season and will receive $100 in gift cards to local establishments. Put on your creative thinking caps and join us in the fun of coming up with a great new name to match this newly designed space at MSP.

HARVEST FOR HAITI COLLECTION TODAY Our monthly collection for our sisters and brothers in Haiti will be taken after all Masses today. Proceeds benefit Rich in Mercy and are dedicated to provide educational scholarships for children in Haiti. DIOCESAN LENTEN APPEAL With the season of Lent comes the annual 2017 DLA, which helps to fund the ministries of the Diocese of Greensburg. It is also a major source of support for the parish each year. Next weekend is Commitment Weekend. If you haven’t spent time reviewing the request that you received in the mail from Bishop Malesic, please take a few minutes this week to do so. Please know that your past support is sincerely appreciated and that your ongoing support is important to the future of our parish. LEGACY SOCIETY The official stats on MSP Church look something like this (Wikipedia):

Coordinates 40°33′46″N 79°45′42″W Area 3.1 acres Built 1942 Architect Enos Cooke Architecture Art Deco, International Style

But when you think about it, what words come to your mind? How about beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, awesome, magnificent? And how would you describe our parish? How about dedicated, generous, welcoming, faithful, kind, doers and not hearers only? Let’s ensure that we keep a great thing going and things like this are never lost. Please consider leaving a gift to the MSP Parish Endowment Fund in your will and becoming a member of our Legacy Society. This fund provides ongoing income for parish operations and benefits those who follow us. For further information, please see the Legacy Society link on the parish website.
