IntroductionThe borough of Hillingdon is rich in artistic talent, with a multitude of societies providing residents with experiences and opportunities in choral, dance, drama, musical, visual arts, poetry and writing, needlework, floristry and more. Through this festival, Hillingdon Council, working in partnership with Hillingdon Arts Association (HAA), provides a chance for residents to share their very varied talents and hard work with the wider community, and it encourages many more people to discover the power and potential of community art projects.Arts In Action promotes what Hillingdon’s artistic residents have to offer and hopes to encourage more residents – of all ages and abilities – to join in with this fortnight of local artistry.
