Responsible for Windows Server Installation and Configuration with help of Tools like HP ILO, RDP etc.

Generating Pre-Checks and Post-Checks of Windows Server 2k3-8(Production) after OS Installation.

Installing and Configuring of Storage, Network Services, Failover Clustering, Failover Clustering with Hyper-V, Groups & Users, Windows Deployment Services, Windows Server 2008R2.

Documentation of Server configuration (RSC-Record Server Configuration) before the two phases of Decommission.

Coordinate with the Hand & Feet Support for proper Shutdown phase of Server and unmounting it from Rack.

Reclaiming the resources after shutdown (Storage, IP Configuration).

ESXi 5.1 Installation and Configuration on HP ProLiant BL460 Blade Servers.

Managing permissions of different Group & Users on the Server using Active Directory.

Creating reports for monitored resources.

Creating SOP’s for KEDB Maintenance.

Put the servers on maintenance mode and remove as and when required.

Performing various Agent Reset and bounces as requested by the support group.

Creating ticket, informing support and annotating the alert within the prescribed SLA.

Co-ordinate with vendors in case of outages to restore services.

Monitoring Servers performance, disk space and availability. Taking appropriate actions based on the type of failure/issue.

Resolving incidents in HPSM/HPSC/SNOW for different kind of issues with Windows Servers (2003, 2008, 2008R2). Hands-on experience with the above mentioned Incident Management Tools.

Analyzing the impact/urgency of the outage and notifying same with proper RCA Document.
