The nitty-gritty of sworn translation
Presentation and workshop presented jointly by SATI and SATI
Boland
SATI members, LAMP members and other interested persons are
invited to a presentation and
workshop on sworn translation. The presenter, Laurent Chauvet,
is an experienced practising sworn
translator and examiner (biosketch below). The morning session
will provide a general introduction
to the ins and outs of sworn translation, while the afternoon
session will be a practical workshop for
those wishing to hone their skills outline provided below. The
presentation and workshop will
provide the ideal preparation for the accreditation exam and for
professional practice.
Participants can register for the morning session only, but the
afternoon session is open only to
those attending the morning session, and numbers for the
afternoon session are limited. The
presentation will be in English, but the content is relevant to
sworn transaltion in any language
combination. Participants should bring their laptops for the
afternoon session.
