Satell ite T V everywhere at home

For now the biggest channel variety with TV and radio

stations can be received via satellite. Unfortunately

there isn‘t a satellite connection at every place in the

home. In many cases the user wants to watch his

favourite channel additionally via mobile devices like

tablet PCs, notebooks, netbooks or smartphones.

The GSS.box is able to connect the satellite signal with

the various devices. If it is connected with the satellite

the GSS.box will convert the satellite channels to an

IPTV format. Now the signals can be fed in the in-house

network and be transmitted via LAN or WLAN.

The GSS.box is based on the new SAT>IP standard

developed by ASTRA. Free-to-air satellite channels can

be wireless transmitted to smartphones, tablet PCs and

notebooks via a home network.

The GSS.box is equipped with 4 satellite tuners. Four

users are able to watch their favourite channel with it.

The main condition is that the mobile devices and the

GSS.box have to be connected in the same network via

LAN or WLAN.

Low-priced apps make recording movies and timeshift

watching possible. Also an EPG is available with them.

Even user for teletext get one‘s money‘s worth.

The TV channels are receivable even at the home PC. The

wired PC as suitable as the wireless connected notebooks

and netbooks.
