You Only Live Once

Satan's Motto has become very popular of late, it is commonly called yolo (you only live once). It means in modern culture to live life to it's fullest and seek whatever selfish pleasure, agenda or interest that may have, no matter the results. This philosophy is the famous eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow you may die concept that was once very popular with both the Greek and Roman cultures. It's simply reworked, or given a fresh paint job to sound new once again. Aliester Crowley, known as the wickedest man alive and Mister 666 or the Beast, taught this vain idea with his famed "Do what thou wilt" saying or motto. Here's some music artists who mention it. Suicide Silence, a heavy metal band wrote, "you only live once so go #@%!*&^ nuts."Rapper Drake says, " You only live once that's the motto &igger, yolo."Lonely Island did a sarcastic comedy video that downplayed the dangers of yolo and advises those who hear them to have "fun" (i.e., fornication; although that is one of the sins - if left unrepented of and unwashed of, that can lead to the condemnation of hell)."Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Corinthians 6:9-10Satan wants kids and adults to go out and sin without worrying about the results. This spells disaster.

"It's appointed unto to men once to die, but after this the judgment." Hebrews 9:27"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." 2 Corinthians 5:10Again, Satan uses music videos to influence others to sing about and promote his godless lifestyle and agenda.

Pop Music Star Madonna sang this truth, "the road to hell is paved with many good intentions." After that Justin Timberlake crooned, "But if I die tonight at least I can say that I did what I wanted to do." It means that they did not care if they die and ended up in Hades, just as long as they lived the life that they wanted to live fulfilling their own lusts and pride. Justin then asks the fans to do the same when finishes by saying, "Tell me, how about you?" Satan their spiritual father, said I Will five times in the book of Isaiah. In reference to do his will and not the Lord's.Another example is the song titled, "Rest of My Life" by Ludacris, Usher and David Guetta. It boldly states, "If I blow some smoke (literally it signifies to do some drugs) to give my lungs a test, cuz why tip toe through life, to arrive safely to death? I was born into the fast life. Written on my tombstone should be wrtitten women, weed and alcohol." The fast life can be seen as doing the following things: Partying, clubbing, drugs, and fornication; along with living a life simply for self gratification. Yet will reap what we sow ( Galatians 6:6-8). Some call it Karma today, but relays the fact that get what you give. What goes around, will come around. But God will never be mocked nor deceived. "The wicked shall turned into Hell; and all the nations that forget God." Psalm 9:17 "The wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23 "Satan (the thief) has come to kill, steal, and destroy; I am (Jesus) come, that they might have life and they might have it more abundantly." No man is a fool to give up what he cannot keep. We cannot whether man of woman, boy or girl, keep our lives and live them in a manner or way displeasing to the Lord Jesus, and expect to obtain eternal life. Jesus said he that gives their life will keep. "He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal." John 12:25 Regardless of our age, race or occupation, we all must follow these steps to become true Christians. The word of God alone is our true guide to salvation (Matthew 4:4), and not the traditions of men that make the truth (found only in Jesus - John 8:32; 10:9; 14:6) void or useless (Mark 7:9-13; Colossians 2:8). And we all know that Jesus who appointed and sent out His apostles to preach to all the world were obedient to His will. "Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone." Ephesians 2:19-20"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38 "But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Acts 10:36b; 46-48Jesus promised us that we remain true to him to the end that we would enter into the joy of the Lord. Think of the Joy that we will have, eternal life without any problems or weakness. Peace, love and joy forevermore.
