Amity- friendship Prefix- Am- to love (i.e amateur)
The two dogs showed great amity toward each other.
Boon- blessing; something to be thankful for Syn- Good fortune

Botany- the study of plants This college does not offer any courses for botany.
Brazen- bold; shameless, impudent Syn- blatant, impertinent, insolent

Legerdemain- trickery The legerdemain was praised by people for its
deception. Lenient- easygoing; permissive
Alex Teacher is not lenient. Malevolent- ill-willed; causing evil or harm to
others The malevolent cat scratched me after I tried to give
it a bath.
