Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun.

It is the second biggest planet. Saturn

has hundreds of rings that make it look

different from the other planets. Saturn

has forty-six moons. It takes about 30

Earth years for Saturn to orbit the sun.

It rotates in about 11 Earth hours.

URANUS

Uranus is the seventh planet from the

sun. Uranus has ten rings. Uranus is the

third biggest planet. For Uranus to

make one orbit takes about 84 Earth

years. It rotates in 17 Earth hours.

Once there was a girl named

Claire. She was 8 years old. She

loved Easter a lot. Easter is very

important to her. She loved the

colorful Easter eggs, but most of all

she liked the golden egg. The

golden egg is filled with $0.50 and

golden peanut butter coins. She

always goes to the community

Easter egg hunt at her church. She

always gets plenty of eggs that her

parents ask her to share with her

baby brother, Nick. Every year their

grandparents come over to their

house to enjoy Easter together.

They all have a big yummy meal

made by Claire’s mom. “Only three

more days till Easter.” Mom says.

Claire is so happy that there is only

three more days to Easter. The next

day Claire says, “Two more days till

Easter. I can’t wait!” Their family

ate breakfast and then went

shopping. Claire bought lots and

lots and lots of things at the mall in

Johnstown. She bought a pretty

dress for tomorrow of course

because it’s Easter. Her baby

brother even bought new baby

clothes that say Easter. Then they

went home and then to bed. Claire

went to bed early because she

wanted to see what the Easter

bunny left her. Claire woke up at

7:00AM and then she woke up her

brother, Nick. She carried him to

the kitchen, put him in his booster

seat and gave him his Easter basket.

Claire looked in hers and she got

gum, a purse, chocolate, and work

books for 5th grade. Her brother

got lots of things like her. Then

their parents woke up and asked,

“Did the Easter bunny come?” They

saw everything they got and said, “I

guess he did.” Later their

grandparents came and were happy

to see them. Their mom said, “Go

get dressed.” So they did. Claire

put on the dress that she got

yesterday. Nick got an Easter shirt

so he put it on with little pants.

Claire and Nick showed their

grandparents what they got from

the Easter bunny. After that they

ate lunch and their grandparents

had to go home. So they left.

Claire said, “Best Easter ever!”

Do you want to read stories about

baseball? I do. So if you do, there is

sort of a series about it. In it there

are books like: Honus & Me, Jackie

& Me, Shoeless Joe & Me and Babe

& Me. The books are by Dan

Gutman. Each book is very good.

The stories are about a 12-year-old

boy named Joe Shortstock. He

loves baseball but he’s not that good

of a player. He usually gets the third

out because of a dumb swing. Joe

collects baseball cards. He started

when he was 7. His dad gave him

his collection. Some of his were

rare but others were junk. The rare

ones give Joe a tingling sensation

and then he goes to the time and

date the event happened. The

stories are very good, but it gives

you historical facts about baseball.

“Oh! I almost forgot.” You all know

third grade is going on a field trip to

PNC Park. Right? We’re going to

see a Pittsburgh Pirates game.

Right? Well, Honus & Me is about a

very famous shortstop baseball

player named Honus Wagner. It’s a

very good book. I read it myself.

Read it to find out what happened!

Aaaaaa! Is everything okay up

there? How did this happen? She

grabbed her helmet and went

outside…

Carly went outside to her

backyard. When she was out there,

she put on her helmet. Then she

got on the horse. “Okay, let me get

on here,” she said. When Carly got

on, she grabbed the reins. “And

here we go!” Carly slapped down

the reins. The horse went wild

running and jumping! Carly hung on

for dear life! “Ouch,” she said.

Carly had fallen and hurt her knee.

“I should have brought knee pads,”

she said as she lay in the grass.

After a few minutes, the horse

started to calm down. Carly got

up. “Are you thirsty, girl?” she

asked. “Nay,” said the horse.

“Okay,” Carly said. Carly went to

the hose. “Here you go,” she said,

turning on the hose. “Is that

better?” she asked. “Nay,’ said the

horse.

I think I will name you Leah! Then

Carly heard her mom call her

name. “Carly! Carly!” Carly

quickly opened the outside door to

her basement and put Leah inside.

Then she ran inside. “Honey, why

do you have a helmet on?” her

mom said. “Umm…I was,um, riding

my bike,” Carly said. “Honey, your

bike is right here in the living

room,” she said pointing to the bike.

“Umm,” Carly said. “Whom are we

talking about? Let’s eat dinner.

Okay.” “Mom, dad…do you think I

could be a good horse back rider?”

Carly asked. “Of course Sweet Pea.

You have strong shoulders.”

Since that talk, Carly decided to be

a famous horseback rider. Soon

Carly’s mom and dad found out

about Leah and Carly found out

how to add details to her horse.

Carly began to become a wonderful

painter and horseback rider. She

died April 13, 2222. They made a

statue of Carly on the outside of

the most famous horseback-riding

track in the world.

because  work  is  6:00  a.m.  Ell  11:30  

a.m.  This  Eme  work  wasn't  so  bad  

aGer  all.  We  had  a  party.  It  was  so  

much  fun.  We  played  and  got  to  

dance  and  most  of  all  they  had  my  

favorite  mouse  and  fish  tacos.  Oh,  I  

forgot  I  have  to  pack!  OMG!  It's  

already  12:00.  I  be3er  hurry,  my  

sister  is  picking  me  up  soon.  Hello  is

Chapter  4  Look  at  me!  I  jumped  over  a  rock.

we  came  on  this  bike  trip  to  

sightseer.  Yeah  your  right.  Look  a  

candy  store.  Can  we  get  some  

candy?  Of  course  we  can  because  I  

love  candy  more  than  you.  Wow!  

Awesome!  They  have  chocolate  

covered  mice,  fish,  bones,  and  

more.  We  should  get  some  

chocolate  covered  mice,  fruity  cat  

nip  flavored  bubble  gum,  jelly  

beans,  and  some  candy  bu3ons.  I  

just  love  candy  bu3ons.  Will  

someone  take  my  order?  Hey  I  m  

going  to  take  your  order  now.  Kat

should  go  home  because  I'm  Ered

Because  I  used  to  rule  BelliEa  I  was  

Queen  and  Sir  Bubbles  was  King.  

But  a  year  ago  Lisa  kicked  me  out  

and  I  was  never  heard  of  again.  Sir  

Bubbles  said  that  I  can  be  

dangerous.  She  could  kill  you.  No  

I'm  defeaEng  her  so  she  is  dead.

lo3ery  Ecket  and  my  Ecket  was  a  

winner  and  the  prize  was  I  could  

pick  a  state.  Whoaa!  Whoaa!  

Whoaa!  Did  you  say  a  whole  State?  

Yep.  Well  what  states  could  you  pick  

from  and  what  state  did  you  

choose?  There  was  3  choices  and  

they  were  Florida,  Washington,  or  

Hawaii.  I  picked  Florida.  Why  didn't  

you  pick  Hawaii?      Because  in  

Florida  is  Disney  World.  Actually  

that  was  a  good  choice.  Because  I  

love  Disney  World.  Plus  the  park  

was  included.  Awesome!  This  is  cool  

we  own  Disney  World.  Lets  go  back  

to  my  old  house  and  start  packing.  

Okay,  I'm  really  going  to  miss  the  

old  house.

Chapter  7  Kat  what  about  BellEa?  Well?  I  

don't  know.  But  I  do  know  we  have

Disney  and  have  a  grand  blast.

One day, Raccoon was

walking on the grassy hill by his

house. It was March 16th.

Tomorrow would be St. Patrick’s

Day. The next morning, Raccoon

saw a leprechaun. He asked him if

he could see his gold. “Only if you

can find it.” “What’s the clue?” said

Raccoon. “It’s somewhere on the

other side of the rainbow.” “What

rainbow?” “That one.” The

leprechaun made a rainbow appear.

“How do I get to the other side?”

“Follow it,” said the leprechaun.

“Okay,” said Raccoon.

A couple hours later,

Raccoon was there. He didn’t see

any gold. “You have to dig,” said the

leprechaun. When Raccoon was

done digging, all he found was a

chocolate coin. “Ha, ha,” said the

leprechaun, “I will never show you

the right rainbow to follow.” Then

there were 15 rainbows in the sky.

They all disappeared. And that’s why

nobody can find any gold.

Once a girl named Kate moved to Jasper Park. She was afraid of being the new kid at school.

Her first day at Jasper was not bad at all, because she got a new locker next to Amy Smith. She also liked all her

teachers. When she got home her family had there favorite dinner, hot dogs.

The next day she skipped school to look around. Then she felt the ground move. She stopped then started

walking. Then she saw something move.

Her parents were very worried because Kate was not home. Her little sister was crying. At 8:30 Kate walked

home. But then the earth shook and shook and shook. Then she remembered something from history class.

Earthquakes. A crack went through the earth and Kate fell in. She was out for an hour. When she wook up she

was amazed at the gold streets and chocolate on every corner. She stayed for many months, but then someone

called her name. Then she got up safe and sound at Laurel Hill State Park and ate breakfast. She told her dream

to her family her little sister said Ha Ha and they had a laugh.

One day, a mother dragon had an egg, but she could not take care of the baby because something evil was happening at their home. So she took it to a kangaroo. The kangaroo said she’ll find a home. Then bird stopped by.

“Do you want this egg?” said kangaroo.

“No,” said Bird.

“I’ll keep it,” said a small voice. It was a dragonfly. I’ll take good care of it. Then kangaroo gave dragonfly the egg and she went away.

When the mother woke up, the baby hatched. The baby was so tired that it couldn’t move or open its eyes. It’s time to move to a different spot.

The baby looked up and said, “Why?” in a low voice.

“Because,” said the dragonfly, “it’s time for school too.”

When the dragon got to school, he was scared to go inside. Then one of the teachers came to Dragon and said, “Don’t be scared, it is all right.” Then Dragon smiled.

When dragon got home, his mother was making him dinner. After that, Dragonfly took Dragon to bed. The Dragonfly told Dragon a story.

“Mother,” said Dragon. “What happened to my other mom?” “I can’t tell you,” said Dragonfly. When Dragonfly shut the door, she said, “I am worried about him.”

Ten years later, dragon was a big dragon and big enough to learn how to fight. One day, he said, “I’ll fight the evil thing that is destroying our home.”

His mother said, “Be careful.”When he got to a cave, two creepy eyes looked at him. Then a dragon popped out.

Then it said, “You must be Dragon, the one who is supposed to fight me!”

Then they started to fight and then Dragon did his best with his power. Then he killed the other dragon. When he got home, his mother was happy.

Every one can be creative. People

like famous singers and artists are

good at these things because they

practice every day. Some kids can

be good just like famous people can.

Adults are creative too because

they are the ones who created art

studios. Kids and adults can make a

difference. Maybe your pets can

make a piece of art. The perfect

way to make a piece of art is to use

mostly paint and paper. It’s as easy

as painting a stick. All you have to

do is use your imagination.

I got my dogs 5 weeks ago. They are

named Bella and Bisket. I play with

them all the time. They are playful. I

got toys and food. One is a fish that

makes a noise and one is a ball. They

got two socks with knots in them. I

like their white fur. They are

Westies. I had 3 dogs before them.

My first one was names Anea. The

second was named Tomes. My third

was named Mady. She was a beagle.

My dogs are nice. I love them a lot. I

loved every dog I got. They were all

nice. My dogs are the best dogs

ever. I am glad I got them. I play with

them every day. They are little, but

really fun. I take care of them every

day. I give them treats if they go to

the bathroom. So go buy a Westie.

hunters! They can kill a lot of

animals. Wolves stay in packs so

they are safe and it’s easier to kill

their prey. Some wolves are white

and some wolves are black. Some

wolves are black and white. Wolves

are my second favorite animals.

Making Maple SyrupWyatt HoffmanMr. Knupp

It’s that time of year again. Time to

make syrup. Each year around

February, when the days get above

freezing and the nights are still cold,

the sap starts to flow up in maple

trees. In order to get the sap, or

sugar water, out of the trees, you

have to drill a hole in them and put

a spill in. This allows the water to

drip into a bucket or pipeline. At

this point the water is about five

and a half percent sugar. It takes

about 50 gallons of this to make

one gallon of syrup. Now you need

to boil it. We use a flat pan but you

can use an evaporator. It takes

several hours of boiling over a hot

fire for the syrup to reach the

proper consistency of eleven and a

half pounds per gallon. By now it is

66 and a half percent sugar. After

several weeks, when the buds start

to form on the trees, the season is

over till next year.

New Years is over and I wonder if

someone watched the ball drop on

TV. If you watched it, you were

probably excited to watch it , and

you were probably tired while you

were waiting for the ball to drop.

And if you saw the end, and if you

didn’t, it was crazy! Confetti was

everywhere. And everybody threw

their hats up into the air, and you

should love it when the ball

dropped. When everybody left it

was a mess. It took two days to

clean it up. When the ball dropped it

was really fast. It was like you con’t

even keep an eye on it. And I loved

it. I hope you loved it too.

Abby and Alexis are best friends and

detectives. They love to figure out a

bunch of mysteries. One time,

Alexis’s little brother, who likes toy

tractors, lost his tractor and kept

crying to his mom.

“I lost my tractor,” cried

Justin. “Please help me.”

His mom said, “Go ask your

sister to call her friend Abby.”

And Alexis called over Abby.

Alexis said to Abby, “Wea re going

to figure out where my little

brother’s toy tractor is.”

When Abby came to

Alexis’s house, they started to look

for clues to where Justin’s toy

tractor could be. Then they saw paw

prints to where the tractor once

sat. They followed the paw prints.

They kept on following the paw

prints until the paw prints led out

to the back yard. Then they saw a

big pile of dirt.

Abby said, “Let’s start digging.”

“But we don’t have anything to dig

with,” explained Alexis.

So they went back to the

garage to get shovels. But when

they got back the dirt was already

dug up, and the tractor was gone.

They saw more paw prints and

started to follow them again. The

paw prints led back into the house.

Then the paw prints led to Alexis’s

dog’s dish. There stood the dog with

the tractor in his mouth. After that,

Justin began to play with his tractor

and Alexis and Abby played the

Wii.statue of Carly on the outside

of the most famous horseback-

riding track in the world.

Mexico is a great vacation. There are a lot of pools, a lot of food, and the

pools are huge. If you take a plane there it takes about 3 and a half hours

to get there, but the food is great. You can go to the beach and there is a

show that is amazing and funny, and they have a thing were they make

theses really good paintings in front of you, and it’s very cool to watch. You

can buy some, and you can look at these old ancient buildings that were

built a long time ago, and you can relax and have fun.

in Switzerland. That is why I like

Ice CreamIce cream is really good. It is very

good to eat after a really good meal

you just ate. Ice cream comes in all

different flavors. You can put different

toppings on it. You can even put

peanut butter or hot fudge on your

ice cream too. Ice cream is very

sweet and cold. You’d better not eat

too much or you’ll get a brain freeze.

The country that eats the most ice

cream is New Zealand. I would also

like to live in New Zealand. That is

why I like ice cream.

Living in my

NeighborhoodMy neighborhood is a great place to

live. There is lots of yard space. You

even have lots of space between you

and your neighbor. Since there is lots

of yard space, you can have pets, and

you maybe could even build a fence

around your yard. You could build a

swing set, or you could maybe even

buy a new big swimming pool. If your

pet ran away (if you don’t have a

fence) I bet someone will definitely

find it, and they will go around the

neighborhood and ask you if it is your

pet, and then if it is your pet, you can

take it. Now that I am done telling

you about the neighborhood, I am

going to tell you what you can do in

the neighborhood. The first one is

going to be about summer. Ok, here

is the first one. You can go bike riding

and there is a nice road. It has some

rocks on it. You can go to friends’

houses, and play outside. You can even

go to buy some stuff at peoples yard

sales. Now that is in the summer.

Now I am going to talk about stuff

you can do in the winter around our

neighborhood. So here is the first

one you can do. You can build a

snowman. You could build a snow

fort, or you could build a snow tubing

area and you can take a tube and go

on your snow tubing place, and

maybe on the track that you built by

your snow tubing area, there is a little

jump. In the summer and in the

winter, there is lots of stuff to do in

the neighborhood, and in my

neighborhood all the people are nice.

horse Midnight. One night, Midnight

ran away from her stable. Alexis was

sad.

She called Abby. “I lost my horse,”

cried Alexis.

“I’ll help you,” said Abby.

When Abby came over, they started

to look for clues to where the

horse might be. So they went to the

horse stables to look for clues. Then

they saw hoof prints. They started

to follow the hoof prints. There they

saw Midnight picking off apples from

the apple tree and eating them.

After that, they went horseback

riding in the woods.

Our futuristic classroom and stuff that we would do in school: 1. In school we could still have desks but built into our

desks we could have a pear pad that we could take in and out of our desks. 2. Instead of hard chairs, we could have mini-

couches with a footrest and railings on the side. 3. Built into our couches, on the railings, we could have touch screens

with all the snacks or drinks that we like. 4. To read a book, they would be in the pear pad. 5. Right in front of our desks,

we could have a flat screen T.V. and we could have our own little rooms. 6. On the other side of the railings of our mini-

couches, we could have a little box that if we wanted to write notes to each other, we could drop our notes in that box

and right below the box, there would also be a touch screen with all the classmates names on it. You could touch a name

and the person would get it. 7. In the cafeteria, we could have McDonalds and other really good restaurants. 8. Our field

trips would go to Kalahari, the biggest water park in the world. 9. In music class, we could take our pear pads out of our

desks and bring them to music class. We could go on You Tube and play songs. 10. We could drive home in bubble cars

and all over the place there will be bubble cars. 11. The floor and the walls will be like a trampoline. 12. We could have

games on our pear pads and play them all the time. 13. At lunch, we could eat in our classrooms and on our desks would

be a little button. When we press it, we can have little tables that pop up and our flat screen TV’s would pop up. 14. In

our little rooms, we could have a little hole where if you could get a question right, in the hole 1,000 bucks would come

down on you.

Thinking of something to

do. Oh! I’ll call Jenefir to come

over and play. Sorry, I forgot to

introduce myself. My name is Ally,

and I have a friend named Jenefir.

First I have to call Jenefir, but I

forgot her number. Oh, yeah,

“Hi, Jenefir, do you want to

come over and play?” “Sure, but I

have to clean my room first.”

“Okay, I have to do a couple things,

too.” Jenefir said “Okay, then I said,

“Bye,” and so did Jenefir.

Then I hung up. I still have

nothing to do. Maybe I can have a

sleepover with Jenefir and Riley W.

So I said to my mother, “Can I call

Jenefir again and Riley W. to see if

they want to sleep over at my

house?” And Riley W. and Jenefir

said yes! So then I waited a little bit

until they arrived.

When they came, they went

to my room. My room had silky

curtains, fluffy pillows, bean bags,

and furry rugs with hot cocoa, lots

of candy, popcorn, movies, stuffed

animals and posters.

After they saw my room,

they sat in the bean bags that I

assigned for them. I got the pink

and lime green bean bag. Riley W.

got yellow. Jennifer got a pretty

pink and purple bean bag. We had a

great time! We ate popcorn and

watched movies. We watched a sad

movie called Marley and Me. We

cried our eyes out. Then we laid on

the furry rugs and opened the silky

curtains. Awesome!!

Now it’s time to go to

sleep. We’re tired. We all get our

sleeping bags and lie down and

watch another movie called Funny

Farm. We laughed and laughed the

whole movie. Ha, ha, ha all the

movie.

When we were done

watching Funny Farm, we closed the

curtains and turned on the light, and

we all screamed, “PILLOW FIGHT!”

We all hurried up and got our

pillows, and when we hit each

other, the feathers came out! And

we all said, “UH, OH!”

After we were done having

a pillow fight, mom came in and

said, “I know you are having fun but

you need to lie down because

tomorrow is a big day.” “Okay, but

what’s tomorrow?” “We’re going to

do some girl stuff. Okay, just lie

down and you will see tomorrow.”

So we laid down and went to sleep

excited. And when we were

sleeping, Jenefir had a dream that

we went shopping, and she, Riley W.

and I were there. We went to the

Mall and everything was free. We

had 2 bags of jewelry, 7 bags of

clothes, 3 bags of makeup, 4 bags of

shoes, 1 bag of candy, and a bag of

perfume and lotion.

My dream was that all three

of us went to the mall and we go to

all the stores like Bath and Body

Works, Aeropostle, Hollister,

Justice, JC Penney’s, Boscov’s, and

Old Navy, but everything wasn’t for

free. But all the clerks said, “They’re

too cute to make them pay!”

Riley’s dream was that she

and her friends were at an ice

cream shop and it had all of their

favorite ice creams like Oreo,

chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, mint

blueberry, cotton candy, raspberry,

lemon, watermelon, orange, grape,

peanut butter, and also Reese’s.

Now all of our dreams combined

together, kind of. I want to go to

Kennywood, Jenefir wants to go to

Kooser Park and Idlewild, and Riley

W. wants to go to the mall and the

ice cream shop. And we all want to

go to the fair!

So we all woke up at 3:00 in the

morning and we all said, “I LOVE

DREAMING!” and went back to

sleep for the rest of the morning

until my mom woke them up and

said, “Get ready.” The girls said,

“Get ready for what?” “The

surprise I told you about last night.”

“Oh, that.” “Hurry up and get

ready! We have to go. We want to

be the first ones there!” “Okay,

okay.” Mom said she is ready. And I

told mom to tell me what the

surprise was and it was the

aquarium. It was the best sleepover

ever!

New Years is over and I wonder if someone watched the ball drop on TV. If you watched it, you were probably excited to watch it , and you were probably tired while you were waiting for the ball to drop. And if you saw the end, and if you didn’t, it was crazy! Confetti was everywhere. And everybody threw their hats up into the air, and you should love it when the ball dropped. When everybody left it was a mess. It took two days to clean it up. When the ball dropped it was really fast. It was like you con’t even keep an eye on it. And I loved it. I hope you loved it too.

heard something in the water. Alli

was a curious child so she ran over

and jumped into the water. She

blonde hair. Then she saw the body

of it. It had a tail not a fish tail a

mermaid tail. The beautiful girl

reached out her hand and

said"come on! I'll show you

around". Alli was amazed. She

reached out her hand and she

gently pulled her about 2 miles until

she saw a beautiful little town. A

sign said Water Falls. Then she said

"right over there is my house". She

pointed to to a big golden palace.

We swam there. It was beautiful.

But then she pointed to the surface

and said "good bye". It was a

mystery. The question was: Will we

ever see each other again? The End.

her signed up to be an astronaut. She was so excited. The next day she went to her training. Her

trainer was a girl named Lindsey Miller. A year later her trainer said you can go up into space. She was

so excited. The next day the count down went on 5 4 3 a cold tickle went down her spine 2 1 BLAST

OFF!! When she arrived at the planet she saw fruit people like apples, bananas, pears, and others. She

almost bit the banana but the banana said "NO, don't eat me , play with me". So she played with them

all day. Then month went by. Very sadly she went home. The second count down went 5 4 3, a tear

rolled down her cheek, 2 1 BLAST OFF!! Then she was back on earth, sweet earth. The next day she

smiled and said, "I met fruit people no one ever did that". Beth became a great astronaut.

My best friend’s name is Viktoria Yutzy. I go to school with her. Even though we sometimes get in a fight we are

always best friends. The book that I read I had changed Dazzle to Abby and Skipper to Vicky then I showed it to

Viktoria and she said that was nice. And I said thank you. I missed her when I came to Sipesville School but then

the next year she came to Sipesville. That year I was so happy. I just wished I had never left Maple Ridge.

happened. The USA immediately

cut off the oil lines to Japan. Then

But the USA didn’t hold back. Then

the USA made the atomic bomb. It

killed thousands of Japanese people

and a couple more hits and the USA

won. The USA struggled but then

the USA made another atomic

bomb explode on the Japanese

people. The USA won World War

II.

It was February and Mr. Knupp said,

“In March is the PSSA Test so we

need to study very well. It is going

to take four days.” At lunch Hope

said, “That test is going to take

forever.” Then Viktoria said, “Hope,

it is not going to take forever.”

Then Avigale said, “What do you

mean Viktoria?” “Well I mean if we

believe in ourselves, we can do it.”

The girls agreed. So we will just

believe. They shook on it. Now it is

the time for the test and Viktoria

said, “Do you remember?” Hope

and Avigale both said, “Yes.” And

from that day on, the girls did good

on their tests!

I was getting on the bus to go to

school. I got to school, played a

little and then I did my journal

writing. Then we went to computer

lab class from 1:15 – 10:00. Then

we came back and they did the

spelling test while Brent and I did

math. Then we all did math. The

class and I learned math. Now all of

us know math.

I like to go to the zoo. It is fun. I

see the animals. I like the

elephants. I like to go in the sun. I

like to see everything in the zoo. I

am going to the zoo tomorrow. I

like snow but I do not go to the

zoo. I stay in. I’m very sad now. I

hope I can go to the zoo tomorrow.

I love going to the zoo! It’s so

much fun. I play at the park too but

I like the zoo the most. It’s so much

fun! I like to go to the zoo and see

all the animals. I really think the

animals are fun. Did you ever go to

the zoo? If you didn’t, it’s a lot of

fun. I really like the lions at the zoo

and the seals too. I like to have ice

cream there. It’s hot when we go in

the summer but it’s still fun. Oh

no, it’s raining! Now I can’t go to

the zoo today. It’s not raining any

more so I can go to the zoo! Yah! I

pay $5.00 to get in. One of my

favorite animals is the bear. It’s a lot

of fun at the zoo. The zoo is fun!

IT WAS JUST A NORMAL DAY. THEN A HURRICANE APPEARED. ALL THE HOUSES WERE BEING DESTROYED. THEN THE NAVY SAID, “GET OUT OF HERE!” SO THAT’S WHAT EVERYONE DID. THEN ALL THE PEOPLE HAD TO GET TO HIGH GROUND, EVEN THE NAVY, BUT TWO KIDS WERE STILL DOWN THERE. THEN THE TWO KIDS SAW AN OCTOPUS. THE KIDS GOT INTO A HOUSE BUT THEN THE OCTOPUS CAME TO THE HOUSE AND CRUSHED IT INTO TWO PIECES. ALL IT WANTED TO DO WAS TO DESTROY EVERYTHING. THEN HE SAW THE TWO KIDS. THEY WERE SO SCARED. THE OCTOPUS WAS TRYING TO EAT THEM BUT THEY GOT AWAY. THEY RAN AS FAST AS THEY COULD BUT THE OCTOPUS RAN FASTER. THEN THE NAVY SAW THEM RUNNING AND THEY SAW THE OCTOPUS. THE NAVY STARTED TO SHOOT. IT DID NOTHING TO THE OCTOPUS. THE CHILDREN SET A TRAP. THEY TRICKED HIM. THE OCTOPUS FELL BACK IN THE OCEAN. THE OCTOPUS LOOKED MAD. THE TWO KIDS SAID THE OCTOPUS IS GOING TO COME BACK. One day I asked my mom if I could have a phone and she said when pigs

fly. SO, I went to the barn and got out three pigs. Then the first pig was

mean. The second one was tired and the third ran off. Then I knew this was

going to be hard. Suddenly I told the pigs to flap their wings then I said no!

Not chicken wings. Finally my mom came outside and said, "What are you

doing"? I said nothing. Then the pigs were flapping their arms then I said

jump. They stopped flapping. Then I went inside. I said this is hopeless. Then

suddenly the pigs were in a helicopter the I went to my mom and drug her

to the window and she saw the pigs flying too. Then me and my mom went

to the mall and I got a cell phone!

My mom said, “Tomorrow is school. You have to go to bed.” So I packed my backpack for school. “Wake up”, dad said. “Eat breakfast and brush your teeth and then go wait for the bus.” When I got to school Mr. Knupp said, “Welcome.” I thought I was in a jungle in there. There were animals all around the room and then I thought to myself Mr. Knupp is not mean. Then I saw Hope and she said, “Tori, I have not seen you since second grade.” At the end of the day we had D.E.A.R. time!

Once upon a time there was a girl named Lilly. Lilly was turning 21

tomorrow. For her birthday her parents bought Lilly a ticket to Pizza Planet. She didn't know what Pizza Planet was. But one morning a flying pepperoni flew in.

She climbed on a pepperoni pizza. But she was sad. Because she didn't like pepperoni pizza. Only cheese pizza.

Then it started to fly. It flew to space. Then landed on a planet that looked like a cheese pizza. She was scared and

happy. Because she saw cute little pizza people. They were cheese pizza people. So she tried to eat one of them. But the cheese pizza person said "NO NO"!

You don't eat us, you play with us. Yea! Then the other pizza person said, "But before you play with us you must give

us your ticket from your parents". Then he said, " this planet was for girls who want to go to space, but doesn't want

to go to the moon". So she gave him the ticket and then they were off to play. They were having so much fun. They were. Then Lilly ran over and

found a piece of pepperoni and there was only one. They lost track of time. We'll really there is no time in pizza

land. But she had to go home. So she went in the flying pizza but when  she got home it was still breakfast. Like

for the girls, bracelets. Last all the

girls made up and decided to make

an awesome club. Everyone in the

Asmeana, Daniel, Michael and David.

It was Sunday morning. Which was

the day my mom had Alexis and I

going to get our hair cut. We had

beautiful silky long blonde curly

hair. We had to get it cut short and

permanently straightened. We had

to find a way out of it before it

happened and we had a plan. Finally

the time came to go. "I'll be right

there Mom!" I shouted as we ran

upstairs "Okay, get the rope", I said.

We hung the rope out the window

and started to climb down it. After

the slot tunnel in the garage. We

waited there with some food and a

door open. Moms van was pulling

in. We shut the door to the slot and

were safe. Mom eventually found

us. We got grounded though but it

was totally worth it!

Today our principal came to our school to tell us that if

we do good on our PSSA’s, we get to go to PNC Park

to watch a Pirate’s game. I asked my dad if he would go

with me and he said yes. Then we got our baseball

gloves and went to my school to get on the bus. We

got to Pittsburgh and got our seats for the game. Next

Ryan Doumit was up to hit and he hit a foul to me and I

caught it. The Pirate’s won the game 3 – 2 against the

Royal’s and I got my first game ball!

I have a baseball game. Saylor Dodge vs. the Lions. My team’s name is Saylor Dodge

boys. My two friends, Avery and Leigha, are watching a game for the first time. It’s the

first inning and I’m up to bat. The pitcher threw the ball and boom I hit it. It’s a home

run! His friends were so excited to see him pitch for the first time and he struck out

five people. When the game was over, my friends were so happy. They never saw

anything like it.
