The Nelson Pompa Memorial Award
Awarded to a boy and a girl who has given of themselves unselfishly and who’s generous
donation of time and talents has enriched the community and the school. This award is
given as a $250.00 scholarship for the 2013-2014 academic year.

The Gareth Howard Memorial Award
The Gareth Howard Memorial Scholarship is given to an eighth grade boy or girl who
embodies the spirit, camaraderie and values of SCC. Through his or her presence, this
student has promoted kindness and support toward others. This award is given as a
$1000.00 scholarship toward the 2013-2014 academic year.

High School Placement Scholarship Award
This award is given to, two eighth grades who took the Diocesan
Placement/Scholarship exam in the fall of 2013. These two eighth graders achieved the
highest scores and will continue their Catholic Education at Saratoga Central Catholic. They will receive $1,000 in
scholarship toward their tuition each year of their high education at Saratoga Central
Catholic.

The Saint Michael’s College Book Award for Academic Achievement with a Social

Catholic faith.
