Diwali Celebration & Green Diwali Campaign
Students of classes VI & VII celebrated an ecofriendly diwali. Earthen lamps along with the traditional rangolis were made. Lakshmi- Ganesha corner was set up aesthetically, and food stalls were put in each classroom. Students dressed up depicting characters from the epic- Ramayana. A nukkadnatak emphasizing the themes of the eco-friendly Diwali and the good over evil were enacted. Performances of tabla(solo), odissi dance, mono act etc. were also performed. The class X students of the Environment Club prepared beautiful presentations to create awareness amongst the students and took a pledge of celebrating an ecofriendly diwali. Projectwork was done to understand the ill effects and harmful effects of crackers. Dr BC Sabata(Sr. Scientific Officer, Dept of Environment, Delhi) was invited to the school and he flagged off an anti-cracker rally conducted by the students. The students of Class 12 dressed up in traditional ethnic dresses.and put up in traditional ethnic dresses.and put up spirited performances that included songs, dances and instrumental-music supports.

Lifestyle Disorders Workshop
BVN As an initiative for Parent involvement – Dr. Manish Aggarwal who is a parent and a Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiology, Metro Hospital & Cancer Institute took a session with students & teachers on the effects of the lifestyle choices one makes which at times leads to disorders. He discussed healthy habits, and the reasons that lead to heart attacks and other heart ailments.

There were races and lucky draw for children of ‘Anubhav’ and were also provided by a delicious food on ths occasion.
