• Part of Presentation is following MLA format• It is important to follow MLA format. You should

have the correct heading, the correct spacing, the correct header, and you should include your works cited. 

• Correct spacing means your entire paper is double spaced, you have two spaces after periods and one space after everything else. Examples of the correct heading and header would be:

PRESENTATION TIPS:• Know the needs of your audience.• Know what your strong and weak points are.• Body language is important. Standing, walking or

moving about with appropriate hand gesture or facial expression is preferred while reading from a prepared speech.

• Speak with confidence as if you really believe in what you are saying.

• Maintain sincere eye contact with your audience. Use the 3-second method (Allow three seconds after each sentence.)     

• Speak to your audience, listen to their questions, respond to their reactions; adjust and adapt.

• Pause. Allow yourself and your audience a little time to reflect and think

RULES OF PRESENTATION:

The presentation needs to have correct formatting appropriate for your audience. It also needs MLA format at all times. It is important because it provides a consistent format for writing papers.  The presentation should be clean with no smudges, wrinkles, stains, etc. Keep it safely tucked away until you turn it in.

READABILITY

When presenting a power point, paper, ect. It should have good readability and be pleasing to the eye.

Visual aids can be useful when trying to make a presentation more interesting or pleasing to the eye. 

For Example: you could put graphs and charts in your presentation if it would help explain the subject matter.

"Many presentations today are followed up with a question and answer period. To some people this can be the most exciting part of the presentation. To others it can be their worst nightmare. VISUAL AIDS AND GRAPHICS

Visual Aids are a great way to help explain a topic or a point. However, they should not be used too much because they can be distracting. 

Charts and Graphs are a great tool when presenting something with a lot of statistics because charts and graphs present the statistics in clear and easily understood ways. 

All Visual aid should be used to Clarify the important points of your topic.
