On Set: This photo shoot waslong––4 hours to be exact! Sarah and her team enjoyedVeuve Clicquot, peppermint tea,and sushi throughout the session.

Prior to Sarah’s arrival, our pianomovers had quite the task athand. They had to carry a grandpiano up two flights of twistingstairs because the service elevatorin the 1920s-era building wastoo small.

COMMENTARY FROM CHRIS:"Sarah is one of my favoriteartists. She has an unbelievablesense of humor. We knew in advance that we wanted to photograph Sarah with an art deco theme, so we had mappedout the whole look and feel of thisshoot. The building couldn’t havebeen a better backdrop. Sarah wasmore than accommodating, whichin the end resulted in some of themost beautiful photos we've everfeatured in our magazine."

Pretty Woman, Indecent Proposal,Bruce Almighty and Mr. and Mrs.Smith were all partly filmed in theCicada Oviatt Building.
