    A DEFINITIVE STYLE

    The typographic style of the Study Work Abroad brand is one that draws from the need to communicate the message loudly during the industrial revolution period. Driven by form and function the typography platform visually portrays the brands image, tone and personality while meeting the demands of its workload. There was significant importance of being differentiated from a majority of the colleges material, in order to stand out and be noticed. The platform uses the variety of weights and style of trade gothic in an expressive, diverse, and engaging manner. The combination provides contrast and integration, a range of formality levels, and maximum flexibility and consistency. While always appearing fresh and thriving.

  • Photography Photography Applied

    There are many opportunities to present images which express ideas, explain concepts, and support written communication. Our system calls for images that build our brand and reveal the character and value of becoming cultured through the study and work abroad program.

    Any photography used must be engaging, bold and very authentic. Elements of photography such as colour and vibrancy, movement and blur, focus and perspectives are key in conveying the tone and personality of the brand.

    While photography enables us to tell many stories, there are three over arching themes: the destination, individuality and connection.

    The vespa is an iconic symbol for the brand. Symbolizing youth, adventure and access to another culture and experience. Growing from use in photography, to symbol in print and web, and integrating a real vespa in their promotional tours allowing students to become physically and personally connected to the brand.

    Adventure, Diversity, Connected, Authentic, Leadership, Thriving, Vibrant, Dynamic, Happy

    Illustrations are the final element in the brands imagery. They are to be used mainly within infographics on the web and large scale print never to be used in visual competition with photography. Iconic by nature and simple in style, illustrations become a clear and direct way to visually communicate the message.
