The trekking dayA typical trekking day start at about 8.30 am after breakfast. Lunchtimes can vary depending on the terrain. We aim to reach the nextovernight stop by 4.30 or 5. During the trek we will have shortbreaks for rest, snack and photographing.

FoodAll meals, which are indicated in the itinerary, are included in theprice of this trip. On the trek the support crew will cook meals for us.Since we are far away from the town, the emphasis will be onhealthy and nutritious local produce.

Our tour guideThe tour will be led by one of our tour guides who are experienced in guiding trekking tours in Vietnam.He has been carefully trained in this field and is fully licensed in tour guiding by the government. Inaddition, he has been trained in first-aid by SOS International and he knows how to deal with difficultsituations. You will have a great time traveling with him.

The transfersIn Hanoi, one ATV staff will accompany you to the train to show youyour cabin and tell you how to deal with the overnight trainWhen you get back to Hanoi on day 5 you can easily find a taxi toget to your hotel.In Lao Cai, our guide will meet you at Lao Cai Railway Station in themorning of the first day. He also see you off at Lao Cai RailwayStation on day 4.

The camping groundOur camp for the evening will be in a very small clearing on themountain enclosed by bamboo. You will be provided with twinshared tent, sleeping bag and air mattress. The campsite places aresubjected to change due to the size of groups and weatherconditions, which will effect relatively to hours of walking on somedays.

Day 2: Sapa Heavens Gate 2900mIn the morning, we travel by car toward the SilverWaterfall where we will be able to take a short walkto the waterfall. We will then drive further to HeavenGate, the highest peak of roads in Vietnam. Fromthere we can see Fansipan, the highest peak ofIndochina mountains as well as enjoy stunning viewof the Binh Lu valley. The trek will be relatively softuntil lunchtime. After a couple of hours of hiking, wewill have a break at a nice spot in the forest andenjoy a good lunch. With new energy we startascending as well as descending towards thecampsite. En route we will have opportunity toenjoy the scenery and magnificent views to SapaArea and beautiful landscape of Lai Chau province.We will arrive to the campsite at 2900m ASL in thelate afternoon. Now it is time to relax and enjoy a

Day 3: 2900m the top of Fansipan HeavensGate Sapa Night train back to HanoiAfter having breakfast, we climb to the top, wherewe can celebrate your victory. From there, you canenjoy the best view to beautiful sceneries. You willthen trek through rainforest to go back to the

campsite for lunch. After lunch, you start your journey back. You follow the trail as well as stonesteeps built by Hoang Lien National Park until youmeet your car, which is there to take you back toSapa. In the afternoon you will arrive back in Sapa,where you can celebrate your achievement, takingshower and relax until transfer to Lao Cai RailwayStation for the night train back to Hanoi.Summary
