Projects - Forms
Forms allow you to track your Sourcing process or Best Practices as it relates to the specific project
Forms can be created as part of a Library component and imported or created within a specific project
Allows for text responses and/or attachments

Projects – Configurable Phase Definition
Can be used to model a 7, 9 or 13 step sourcing process
Assigned at the Document Type
Configurable multi-step workflow can be defined to specific phases.

Tracking Costs/Savings
The Costs tab displays an item-by-item breakdown of internal project costs.
This can include the cost of resources or expenditures associated with a specific sourcing project. For example, travel costs, temp labor, market research and /or supplier qualification costs

You can also track Savings associated with sourcing initiatives:Two types of savings are available: hard and soft savingsBuyers have various options for the Source of Savings and Cause of Price Variance.

Importing Projects
Under Setup – System Administration – Import/Export Tools, click “Import Data”
NOTE To obtain the Projects csv import file, upload a dummy file and choose the Projects options. When you click “Preview”, the template will be available to download.

“Next” to Upload to Server
Browse for your template and click “Next”
