DBACOCKPIT
Permissions
A database user has to be specified to connect from the SAP system to the HANA
database
Basically the same permissions are needed for this user as to work with the SAP
HANA studio administration perspective
It is NOT recommended to use the SYSTEM user or the technical user (SAP)
for that connection, a specific administration user should be created user
DBACOCKPIT is created by the BW installation for that purpose (see note
1640741)
In addition to the database permissions the available functionality in the
DBACockpit can be further restricted with the ABAP user/role concept
Role SAP_BC_S_DBCON_USER can only perform read-only actionsRole SAP_BC_S_DBCON_ADMIN can perform configuration changes additionally
