• Username & Password Combinations are unique.

• Change passwords after initially it is given to you using the “New Password” button.

• More than 3 incorrect attempts will lock your user id.

• Try not to share your password with others.

• System will show warning.• If you select option 1,

you’ll be able to log-into the system but any other logons will get exited without saving data.

• If you select option 2, you’ll be able to log-into the system without hampering others works.

• If you select option 3, you’ll terminate the log-on & won’t be able to log into the system.

• Select Option 2 obviously. Press ‘Enter’.

• System will show warning.• If you select option 1,

• SAP has followed pure logic while designing the menus.Roam a little bit and you will have the feel.

• The SAP Menus look exactly like the folder-menu in Windows.

• For running a particular transaction, there may exist more than one path in SAP menu. All these paths will lead you in same transaction screens.

• Don’t try to memorize the paths.• “VD01”/”XD01” are called the transaction

codes for the past example.

• Session: A particular screen in SAP is called a session.

You can run one transaction at a time in a session. For running several transactions at a time you need to create multiple sessions at a time.

In standard system, you can open upto 6 sessions at a time.

• The middle button will delete the selected transaction from your favorites menu.

• Writing XD01 there and press the enter key will directly take you to the create customer screen.
