Starting Information Broadcasting The Role

The Portal Role Business Explorer contains the following Page:Collaborative BI

Contains various Knowledge Management iViews for discussions, collaborationrooms and notifications

Discussions:A discussion allows users to exchange thoughts on a particular subject ordocument. The basis for such a discussion can be documents and links that areprovided by BEx Information Broadcasting.

Collaboration Rooms:Collaboration rooms enable groups of users to share information andapplications. Contents of SAP BW can also be integrated.

Notifications:Notifications inform you about changes in a subscribed document, e.g. a newprecalculation.

The entry field “Portal Catalog”allows to select the PCD locationfor the physical storage of theiView

Additionally Links into KMFolders can be created.

KM Folders can be selected inthe hierarchy, and a KM link willbe generated
