Dear Praying Team,

Things are slow right now . We are just meeting with a few people . Our hearts’ desire is that there will be a great working of the Lord in the hearts of the students we are ministering to right now, and in the hearts and lives of the students who will be coming to NMSU this fall . The brightest spot for us right now is Richard from Indonesia who is like a sponge in taking in spiritual truth . It is exciting to teach him . The counseling of the young man I mentioned in our last letter is coming along slowly .

We went to California July 26-August 7 . We visited Lori’s brother, David, who has end stage cancer, and then proceeded to Sebastopol where we had a short family reunion . Some of the grandkids were not be able to make it as they had to work . We also visited some supporters and friends in the Bay area since it has been quite a while since we have seen many of them . We want to be home in time to meet new students who will be arriving between August 10th and 20th .

Your standing with us is so critical to the work . Thank you for your zeal for the Lord . Please, please pray for a working of the Lord in the hearts of the internationals and the drawing of them to Himself . Please pray for us to have the energy to keep going to complete the work assigned us by the Lord .
