    प्रश्ि 2. माटी वाली को लोग क्यों पहचािते थे? उत्तर-घर-घर में लाल लमट्टी देते रहिे के उस काम को करिे वाली माटी वाली अकेली थी। इसललए उसको लोग पहचािते थे।

    प्रश्ि 4. आज माटी वाली बुढ्ढे को कोरी रोटटयााँ िहीीं देगी इस कथि के आधार पर माटी वाली के हृदयगत भावों को अपिे शब्दों में ललखिए । उत्तर - माटी वाली एक गरीब और मजबूर पत्िी है। उसका पतत बूढा है। वह काम करिे योग्य िहीीं है । अत: वह अपिी पत्िी पर तिभभर है । माटी वाली भी उसका पूरा ध्याि रिती है। वह उसके ललए पहले रोटी बचाकर रिती है, बाद में िुद िाती है। वह अपिे पतत के प्रतत गहरा पे्रम और करुणा का भाव रिती है क्योंकक उसका पतत दयिीय दशा में है। अत: उसका ध्याि रििा वह अपिा परम कत्तभव्य समझती है। प्रश्ि 5. ‘भूि मीठी कक भोजि मीठा' यह बात कहिे से लेिक का क्या आशय है ? 'माटी वाली' पाठ के आधार पर उत्तर दीजजए । उत्तर - इस बात से यह आशय है कक भोजि मीठा या स्वाटदष्ट िहीीं हुआ करता, वह भूि के कारण स्वाटदष्ट लगता है। इसललए रोटी चाहे रूिी हो या साग के साथ या चाय के साथ वह भूि के कारण मीठी लगती है। अतः रोटी के स्वाद का वास्तववक कारण भूि है ।
