jacking for position. • 1st Place winners: Lloyd Ingham/Harry Pratt • 2nd Place winners: Dawn Baxter/Mel Feeney
• 3rd Place winners: Tom Waldrum/ Dave Chipman
Next Tournament:
The next tournament will an 8-ball tournament

ready for signature until the end of the day on Thurs., April 16.
In addition to the 50/50 draw we will also hold a special draw for a new Pool Cue offered by
Sanders Recreation and fitness in Barrie. Winners of such a Cue in the past have found
it to be a welcome addition to their Cue Case.
And lastly I’d like to remind all those in the pool hall during the competitions to curb their
enthusiasm in order that those playing can concentrate. It has become apparent that the
noise level(s) are becoming increasing troublesome. Any questions, please contact Jim Altilia at

Happiness is Yelling BINGO!
And we missed one because of Covid-19 social distancing
recommendations.
Bingo withdrawal is something we don’t want to put you through so I will say we plan on Bingos on April 5th and 19th. You will be
notified if we have to cancel.
For new players or new residents, Bingo is played on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, at the Wheel ballroom, from 7:00-
10:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Snack bar is open for drinks and treats. You can bring a guest with you and play the
main games for as little as $6.00.

Specials can pay out $120.00, the final jackpot $500.00. Pay-out is always
dependent though on attendance and number of cards sold. Tables are set up for good
visibility of numbers and the sound system is really good.
So come out for a fun Sunday evening of Bingo. Because Happiness Is Yelling BINGO.

Our Sandycove Acres Newsletter is an
important method to inform all residents of any new or updates regarding the various
groups and clubs within our community. These numerous activities, run volunteer residents, create Sandycove’s lifestyle to
which we are very proud of!
Normally the monthly Newsletter is printed and collated at The Wheel. Due to the
Coronavirus (Covid-19), the Wheel was closed and therefore the Newsletter could not get printed. It was also a concern to ask our
collating team to come together to collate and possibly subject them to worry over health
concerns.
So, in order for the April edition to be in the hands of our residents, Mirka Rollason,
Parkbridge Property Manager, offered to arrange an outside vendor to print and collate April’s newsletter.
We would like to extend a BIG THANK YOU
to Mirka for her assistance in keeping the lines of communication for our activities open.
