Violent video game player All sources say that a sure conclusion can not be
made about why Adam Lanza carried out the act
Before
Adam Lanza attended Sandy Hook Elementary for a short period of time
His mother was a volunteer at the school and reports show that Adam thought she cared about the kids more than she did for him
Lanza, the shooter, killed his mother on his way to the Elementary School
Results
Twenty students, ages six to seven, were killed in the shooting
Six adult employees at the school were also killed
Adam Lanza, the shooter, took his own life inside the school with his hand gun
Heroic Teachers
All staff of Sandy Hook Elementary were put in grave danger on December 14, 2012. All teachers put their lives in front of their students. Anne Marie Murphy, a special education teacher was found in her classroom slumped over her students as she tried to throw her body in front of the bullets to save their lives
As soon as shots were heard, school principal Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung, school psychologist Mary Sherlach, and vice principal Natalie Hammond went out to investigate and take action. Only Natalie Hammond would make it out alive
Other teachers made sure to keep their students calm for the endless hours that were spent in the school by reading stories to them, hiding them in bathrooms, and telling them that everything was going to be alright
