Worked as Technical Lead consultant for Netherland based customers (NL SAP BASIS project)

• I have worked as a Backup Technical Lead (BCLC – Backup customer Landscape coordinator) for major customers like AkzoNobel Decorative Coatings, Akzo Nobel Industrial Finishes, and DSM.

• Primary responsibility as a backup lead includes responding to all customer queries, technical recommendations based on SAP Best Practices, review of service offered in discussion with the end customer and also being responsible for planning and successful implementation of all change activities of the assigned customer and maintaining healthy status of all associated systems.

• I have also worked as a technical analyst for customers like Schlumberger, Hilton Food Group, Sanoma, Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes, Akzo Nobel Pension Funds, Sita, Eriks, Denon& Marantz, Gasterra, Kerry, Thermphos.

• Administrating and maintaining the SAP R/3, ECC, BW, APO, XI, Portal system. Responsibilities included monitoring system performance reducing risk of down-time of Production Systems, adhering to SLA’s.

Project Details:

NL SAP BASIS project consists of multiple clients (20). For each client in this project, there is a CLC (Customer Landscape Coordinator), his back up (BCLC) and 1 or more technical coordinators (TC) under the BCLC. The entire major change activities and their planning are the responsibilities of the CLC and BCLC. They include oracle upgrades, refreshes, support pack upgrades, language installation etc. The technical coordinators too perform such activities but only after the approval of CLC/BCLC. Major focus of the technical coordinators (TC) is to work on incident requests, which include user generated requests as well as automated requests. The team strength of the project is 35 members.

Here the major customers are AkzoNobel, DSM, Draka, Philips and Schlumberger which together consist of 300 plus systems. There are 100 plus production systems supported under NL SAP BASIS most of which have 24*7 supports.

Customer Specific Roles:-

From Nov 2009 – May2010: Worked as a technical coordinator (TC) for Akzo Nobel Industrial Finishes customer

From June 2010 – Sep 2010: Worked as a BCLC (Backup Customer Landscape Coordinator) for Akzo Nobel Industrial Finishes Customer.

From Sep 2010– March 2011: Worked as BCLC for DSM customer.

From Oct 2012 – Dec 2012: Went to Netherlands for providing support to the available customers in NL –SAP Basis Project.

From Jan 2013 – August2015: Worked as a primary resource (CLC) for Slumberger customer and Problem Manager for AKZO NOBEL DECORATIVE COATINGS.

Since we have a 24*7 support environment, apart from the above customer specific role I have also been working as a technical analyst for other customers like Schlumberger, Hilton Food Group, Sanoma, Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes, Akzo Nobel Pension Funds, Sita, Eriks, Denon& Marantz, Gasterra, Kerry, Thermphos.

To monitoring the status of the systems SSD scripts and ART portal (Availability and Report Tooling) are used which show most of the basic check statuses of system like availability of SAP, database, all mandatory processes, table space usage, database and archive backup statuses, file system statuses, work process and standard SAP jobs statuses.The ticketing tool used are USD 6.0 and USD 12.0. The major types of tickets that are generated are incident requests, change requests, problem requests, query requests and complain requests.

Oracle activities

• Oracle database overview.• Modification of Oracle parameters in accordance with SAP recommendations.• Online/Offline reorganization of tables/table spaces through brtools.

• Applied ABAP support pack stacks, SPAM /SAINT upgrades, installed add-ons trough transaction SAINT.
