When you make Dua,

have certainty that

Allah (swt) WILL re-

spond. he Prophet

Muhammad (peace be

upon him) said: Verily

Allah is Al-Hayee ( heShy). He is shy to let His

slave return empty-

handed if he outstretch-

es his hands to Him.

When you raise your

hands to ask of Allah,

dont limit your Duas!

Know that your poten-

tial is infinite , because

the ability of Allah to

respond to your Duas islimitless .

ake the time out to

go to a beautiful place

in nature where you

can reflect on the awe-

inspiring and mightycreations of Allah (swt).

Before embarking on

writing your Duas,

compare your life to the

creation of the heav-

ens and the earth: he

creation of the heavens

and the earth is in-

deed greater than the

creation of mankind;

yet, most of mankind

knows not (Ghafir: 57).

Surely, He who created

and owns all the heav-

ens and earth and what

is in them, can respond

to your Duas with ab-

solute ease. He simply

says Be and it is.

Let your Duashelp you

seek great-ness, but let

them also bean acknowl-edgement ofall that Allah

(swt) has al-ready blessed

you with.hankfulness

is a key ingre-dient in mak-

ing your Duas!And (remem-

ber) whenyour Lord pro-claimed, If you

are grateful,I will surely

increase you(Ibrahim: 7).

heProphet(peace beupon him)said: Youshould askAllah forall of yourneeds, evenif the strapof your

sandalbreaks( irmidhi).As adults,sometimes

we forgetto ask forthe simplethings.But Allahwants youto turn toHim forALL yourneeds,great andsmall.

If Allah asked you,ask whatever you desire and I will give it to you

YOU so at peace and

content on your death-

bed? Write it all down

without filtering

everything and any-

thing that you wish

to accomplish in this

world.

look over what you

have written and find

that are most appli-

cable to what you are

asking for, and use

them in your Dua.

(e.g. if you are making

Dua for Allah to bless

you with a child, you

may use His Names:

Al-Musawwir, Al-

Wahhab etc.)

Finally, dont just make

dua for something

amazing, then losehope when you feel

the journey is too dif-

ficult. Instead, love the

journey itsel f just as

much as you love the

destination.

Revise& Renew

Its important to keep

revisiting your Duas!

After six months, lookat the Duas that youve

been making; you may

want to renew them

according to how far

youve come along, or

generate new Duas ac-

cording to your new

desires and goals. Start

from step one again

and make it a continu-

ous cycle of growth and

learning and renewal

of your Eman through

Dua.
