    IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

    ENTRY FEES: All checks must be made payable to MILK RIVER MOTORSPORTS. All payments must be made THE DAY OF THE EVENT, registration area will be by the crows nest. All vehicles MUST be tech-ed in by 10am the day of the event to appear in the program; all vehicles tech-ed in after 10am will not be in the program.

    Driver AND pit crew must sign the release; No substitution for driver or pit crew.

    General Rules for All Classes:

    1. Questions/Comments: if you have a complaint and/or suggestion, please bring it to the attention of one of the staff

    members.

    2. When in doubt of the rules and regulations, CALL!

    3. Speed limit within the fairgrounds: 15mph. After an event if you need to clean your tires off use the north track; use

    extreme caution.

    4. Running positions will be a computer generated random number draw.

    5. There will be fifteen minutes between first and second run of each class. The second run will be a computer generated

    random number draw.

    6. Each driver has five minutes to be at the line when called; deliberately stalling will disqualify the driver.

    7. All drivers and pit crew will meet at designated time for drivers meeting; Attendance is mandatory.

    8. Everyone in the pit area after the event starts are required to have a wrist band; additional wrist bands can be purchased

    during registration.

    9. Vehicles will be tech inspected before they can be registered.

    10. Each class will line up and be ready to race when announced; as the previous vehicle completes the race, the next should be

    ready to race as soon as the timer is ready.

    11. ALL passengers during the event must sign a release form BEFORE participating.

    12. DOT approved safety helmets and DOT or SFI approved seat belts are required for drivers and passengers.

    13. No entry fees will be refunded after a vehicle is registered. Exceptions will be made for inclement weather.

    14. ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN THE PITS. Both drivers and pitmen are not permitted to drink alcoholic

    beverages before or during the event. Participants suspected of intoxication will be confronted by the event chairman and

    required to take a breathalyzer test provided by the Valley County Sheriffs Department and/or the Glasgow Police

    Department.

    Failure to comply will result in immediate disqualification without refund and removal from the grounds at the

    discretion of the VC Sherriffs Dept and/or the Glasgow Police Dept.

    at the discretion of the VC Sherriffs Dept and/or the Glasgow Police Dept.

    **Participants are encouraged to notify a staff member of any/all drivers or pitmen that are suspected to be

    intoxicated before or during the event.**

    Vehicle Rules for All Classes:

    1. MIN one (1) inch hole in hitch required; must be stationary. No chains or cables.

    2. All vehicles must be equipped with safety devices to keep arms/legs in place

    a. I.E. window or net.

    3. Open vehicles must have a full cage with six point roll bars.

    4. Jeeps, Stock and Modified Classes will be allowed one event with a four point roll bar.

    5. Vehicles with removable roofs or half roofs must have a four point roll bar made of approved type steel as

    required by safety and general rules.

    6. Mandatory neutral safety switch.

    7. Gas tanks must be mounted securely.

    a. Front mounted fuel tanks must have impact protection structure.

    b. MIN 1 scheduled 40 or 1 square by 1 by inch

    c. MIN space between tank and protection two (2) inches and twelve (12) inches apart.

    8. Batteries must be mounted securely; subject to judges approval.

    a. If battery is in cab, it must be covered.

    9. Fire extinguisher required in the vehicle; must be securely mounted, fully charged, inspected and in working

    order.

    10. NO loose objects anywhere in vehicle.

    11. Breaks must be in working order.

    12. Steering must be secure and free from excessive play.

    13. Seats must be securely mounted.

    14. Separating wall between the driver and power train needs to be in place required.

    15. Holes in fire wall must be covered.

    16. Radiators may be relocated; cooling lines must be shielded from driver.

    17. Dual throttle return springs are required.

    Racing Ground Rules

    1. Have your vehicle ready to race when it is teched in.

    2. Know who you follow in the lineup; be ready to race when your turn comes around.

    3. Once your vehicle is staged DO NOT back out of staging area.

    4. Know the rules, know the officials and be courteous.

    5. ABSOLUTELY NO PIT RACING; this will be strictly enforced. If you lose your temper you may lose your

    racing privileges.

    6. Keep your pit area clean; garbage cans are provided.

    7. Grudge matches: When competition racing is over, contestants that wish to race may do so for

    $5.00/pass per vehicle.

    Class Rules for All Classes:

    CLASSES ARE DIVIDED AS FOLLOWS: a. Stock b. Super Stock c. Modified (Sportsman) d. Super Modified (Competition Modified) e. Open Class f. X-Class and g. Motorcycle/ATV.

    All tech decisions are finial as interpreted by the head technical inspector.

    Three (3) vehicles MIN required to make up a class

    If less than three (3) vehicles registered: you may move up one (1) class or one (1) bracket at drivers vote.

    A vehicle may only be entered in two (2) classes, limit two drivers per class.

    Vehicle must meet all rules and requirements for each class registered in and paid for to participate.

    Any lugs intentionally removed, the vehicle will be moved up to Open or X-Class.

    Any body to frame swap, the vehicle will be moved to modified.

    SPECIAL RULES FOR STOCK, SUPER STOCK & MODIFIED CLASSES:

    If you finish faster than three (3) seconds ahead of your opponent in two (2) consecutive races, you will be moved up one (1) class.

    STOCK CLASS Vehicle must be street legal and be registered and licensed for street use by state or province of residence and meet all safety rules.

    1. NO: a. Alcohol and/or propane injection b. Blowers c. Chips d. Nitro methane e. Nitrous f. Superchargers g. Turbos

    2. MAX three (3) bolt-ons

    a. Headers, lift, etc. 3. MAX overall lift: four (4) inches 4. Tires must be DOT approved; MAX 33 in diameter. 5. Gas and naturally aspirated diesel fuel only.

    SUPER STOCK CLASS Vehicle must retain recognizable body.

    1. NO: a. Aftermarket turbos b. Alcohol and/or propane injection c. Blowers d. Chips e. Nitro methane f. Nitrous Bottles must be removed or capped before event g. Superchargers

    2. MAX four (4) bolt-ons

    a. Intake, carburetor, headers, lift, etc b. Non original body and drive train count as one (1) bolt on each.

    3. MAX overall lift: six (6) inches 4. Tires must be DOT approved; MAX 35 in diameter. 5. Gas and diesel fuel only; fuel must be naturally aspirated; no blowers, nitrous, or turbo unless factory equipped.

    MODIFIED Vehicle body may be modified.

    b. A track official needs to be notified so safety personnel can take necessary precautions. c. A shut off valve on fuel cell is highly recommended.

    3. Gas or diesel users: a. Fuel must be naturally aspirated; no blowers, nitrous, or turbo unless factory equipped. b. Chips are allowed.

    4. Tires must be DOT approved; MAX 38.5 in diameter. 5. Drive line loops required.

    SUPER MODIFIED

    1. NO: a. Blowers b. Bolt on limit c. Extended frame d. Hood required e. Lift limit f. Nitro methane g. Nitrous - Bottle must be removed or capped before event. h. Paddle tires i. Tire size limit j. Turbos

    2. Alcohol fuel users:

    a. A fire safety suit is required with MIN rating of five (5) minutes for enclosed vehicles, twenty (20) minutes for open cab.

    b. A track official needs to be notified so safety personnel can take necessary precautions. c. A shut off valve on fuel cell is highly recommended.
