Sir,

In reference to subject cited above; we would like to inform that application for aforesaid mining

projects was submitted to MoEFCC, New Delhi on 13.12.2016 & our project was considered in 14th

EAC

Meeting at agenda item no 2.19, held on 30.01.2017 for ToR approval.

As per 14th

EAC MoM displayed on MoEFCC web portal; our case was rejected as the distance of

project site is found about 1 km from Barda Wild Life Sanctuary.

Now, Final Notification is published by MoEFCC on dated 28th

April, 2017 declaring Eco-Sensitive Zone

around Barda Wild Life Sanctuary & the project site lies outside Eco Sensitive Zone of Barda Wildlife

Sanctuary. Map showing, project site vis à vis Eco Sensitive Zone of Barda Wildlife Sanctuary is

enclosed herewith as Annexure I.

Formal letter of Verification, giving nearest distance of the project site from Barda Wild Life Sanctuary

and its recently declared Eco-Sensitive Zone is sought from Forest Department, Porbander. Copy of our

application, duly acknowledged at Forest Department, Porbander is being attached as Annexure II.

It is expected to get the same shortly and we would be able to produce the same before EAC at the

time of presentation of our case for reconsideration of ToR.

Therefore, we request that the aforesaid mining project may kindly be considered in next EAC Meeting

for grant of Terms of Reference (ToR).
