A message from Mick Founts, San Joaquin County Superintendent of Schools

Welcome to the 2013-14 San Joaquin County Pubic Schools Directory. In this publication you will find information regarding our 14 school districts, more than 200 schools, and the various educational programs and services that are offered throughout San Joaquin County. We will not be publishing a “hard copy” as in the past. This year’s publication is updated throughout the year, so that you have the most current information that we have, and “going green” is always a good thing!

San Joaquin County schools serve over 135,000 students! We have approximately 7,000 teachers, 500 administrators, and over 8,000 other educational staff who work hard, every day, to make sure that our County students are prepared for their futures. This directory will help connect you to those dedicated people.

Our school districts and public charter schools within San Joaquin County are totally dedicated to their students, as are we at San Joaquin County Office of Education. This directory helps connect us all, to do the best that we can do, and should do, for the youth of our County. Please use this directory to help communicate with those who truly care about our youth.

Thank you for supporting San Joaquin County schools. Working together, we can ensure a brighter future for all of our San Joaquin County students.

Sincerely,

Mick Founts, Ed.D.Superintendent of Schools
