SEAN PERRY

Sean Perry is the Chief Information Officer at Robert Half - a professional staffing company with seven staffing divisions: Accountemps®, Robert Half® Finance & Accounting and Robert Half® Management Resources, OfficeTeam®, Robert Half® Technology, Robert Half® Legal, and The Creative Group®. Robert Half also is the parent company of Protiviti - a global business consulting firm. The Robert Half Information Technology department is organized to align with our major lines of business’ and are responsible for delivering their requisite technology solutions to more than 400 locations worldwide. Since assuming the role of CIO in 2007, Sean has strategically led Robert Half down two key technology paths, the first of which was to fully embrace virtualization - which subsequently demonstrated significant cost savings and flexibility. However, he knew virtualization alone would not provide the flexibility of scale required to support our increasingly data intensive business. Therefore, over the past five years Robert Half became an early adopter of cloud infrastructure to take advantage of dynamically scalable architectures. These early experiences proved opportunistic and created a more flexible and cost effective infrastructure – currently provided through 5 data centers and various cloud offerings. Today Robert Half is pursuing a cloud-first strategy and making the necessary operational, infrastructure, and behavioral changes required for enablement. Sean has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Business Decisions from San Diego State University and started his career as a Consultant at Accenture before joining Robert Half. Sean has a passion for developing talent. He is dedicated to engaging interns that are currently attending college or are participating in worker re-entry programs like NPower. As the son of a Naval Aviator himself he is particularly committed to hiring veterans. Sean is married, has two sons, and prefers two wheel modes of transportation over four. Ask him sometime about his latest departure.
