Goals for the Prospect to Spud Project
• Standardization of key company asset data is managed• Streamline work and automate workflow• Reduce time to access the right data while improving the ability to
restrict access to a “need to know” basis – example, move away from GeoPublic Shared Folder
• Enhance Department training and knowledge transfer; employee portability.
• Provide a “composite application” that leverages existing data sets and applications while providing the user “one stop shopping” for well information.
• Limit corporate information lost in disparate spreadsheets• Availability of GIS functionality to get the details tied to an object• Documentation accessible at an object level

• Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 for Document Management utilizes
• WCF/Web service in .NET 3.5 framework services layer
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008
• Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2008
• GIS Map Interface will be using ArcGIS server 9.3 / ASP.NET 3.5
