THE ‘SPRAYMASTER’ OPEN FRONT SPRAY BOOTH WA MADE

The SprayMaster open face spray booth is the most popular option of spray booths in the range. They can be manufactured to virtually any configuration to fit a broad range of finishing requirements; booths range from small bench type to booths capable of painting the largest mining equipment. Booths are constructed using double skinned panels for all the walls and roof. The panels are lined both inner and outer with 0.6mm steel and surfaces are coated with 25% gloss Off White polyester. When lighting is required, lights are flush mounted into the roof and/or the walls of the booth behind laminated safety glass, and have external access for easy mainte-nance. All booths are supplied with exhaust fans which have EXE rated direct drive motors and 12 blade adjustable pitch fan assemblies.

THE ‘UNIVENT’ FUME EXTRACTION SYSTEM

The Univent Fume Extraction System is ideal for those workshops where spraying can not be carried out within an enclosed or open face spray booth with walls due to the size and/or shape of the item to be painted. Vehicle exhaust fumes can also be extracted. These units are usually custom made to ensure the best possible workshop ventilation and can be manufactured to any size requirements.

THE ‘PREPMASTER’ PREPARATION BAY WA MADE

S&S Industries have available various designs of preparation areas. These units are generally used for ventilation for dry sanding, chemical stripping of paint, or carrying out minor spot repairs. We specialise in design and building of preparations bays to suit individual requirements. Infra-red heating systems are available as an option and can be fitted to most types of paint booths and preparation areas.

The Zodiac paint mixing rooms are designed to create the ideal safe environment for storing, mixing and matching paint. Ventilation is via a 400mm adjustable pitch fan directly coupled to a flameproof EXE rated motor and the room runs at negative pressure. Bright room illumination is via strategically place fluorescent lights. Each light unit is mounted behind sealed laminated safety glass and light access for servicing is carried out externally for easy access. 50mm thick white insulated panels are used in the construction of the paint room and all flashings are powder coated white. Paint rooms are usually custom made to suit your requirements.

ABOUT S&S INDUSTRIES

S&S Industries is a family owned and operated company which has been operating in Western Australia since 1967, primarily as a supplier to the panel and paint industry. Early in the 1980’s, S&S Industries realised there was a need for a locally manufactured spray booth and baking oven range and after much research, in 1983 formed another division of the company called SpraySafe (WA) to produce these items. In 1985 S&S Industries was awarded the prestigious ‘Australian Design Award’ for two booths, the Commodor and the Capri. Since then the business has grown from strength to strength to the extent that S&S Industries currently hold approximately 80—85% market share in W.A. SpraySafe (WA) booths and baking ovens are being used in many industries, including mining, automotive, furniture manufacture and engineering to name a few. As S&S Industries is a supplier of consumable products to many businesses around Western Australia, our booths and ovens built to an extremely high standard, so as to not jeopardise this continual business. The Zodiac Full Downdraft Baking oven is a premium quality baking oven which will give you the best possible painting conditions to achieve that prestige paint finish you have been chasing. Its super quiet operation allows you to install it next to an office if required. The Zodiac Oven can be installed as either an above ground unit with either internal or external ramps or as an in-ground installation. S&S Industries will not ‘cut corners’ or remove features on this oven to cut the price. The Zodiac has gained an extremely good reputation over many years for it’s quality and reliability, and this we refuse to jeopardise.

The Zodiac Semi Downdraft range of Spray Booths and Baking ovens are built to the very high quality standards of our Zodiac Full Downdraft Baking Oven. It is designed to sit on the existing concrete factory floor and airflow direction is from the top front of the booth to the bottom rear of the booth. This style of booth is extremely popular in workshops where heavy vehicles or items on trolleys are to be painted in the booth as the problems of ramps and floor grid load limitations are eliminated. It is also a more cost effective alternative to purchase than the full downdraft version.
