  • The Library

The Libary is a storehouse for books of all types. Some use them for magical research, some of the books simply historical interest.

Some questions do need to be answered about this room though.

Why has the door been broken? Why has the obviously valuable book on the table been left behind? What was in that open crate?

On picking up a random book you find (Roll a D6)

1 - A history book on a random subject, boring, but worth 2d6 gold to a collector2 - An Atlas with the phrase "here..i'm sure of it...." marked in the mrgins and a X on the

map page.3 - A recipie book. Adds +2 to any cooking check made while consulting this.4 - A rather tatty looking book, but gives off a very powerful aura. The text inside is

unreadable.5 - A birth and deaths register, showing the town where one of the players was born. All

the names on the day the player was born are circled in red ink.6 - The book contains the deed for a plot of a land not far from here...in an area know to

    be inhabiated by bandits.
