towards the truth. During journey I found myself
who I m and also come to know the reality of life
and what one peg of ALCOHOL can do.
This is story about one young boy who had
different attitude towards the life and ALCOHOL
because he belong to the RAJSTHANI CULTURE
that‟s why ALCOHOL was in his blood and he
spend childhood in such a atmosphere where
people drink alcohol like a water , But one journey

End of Journey
ALCOHOL (Journey toward the Truth)

Delhi (Punjabi dhaba)
It was one of the frostiest nights of the year or may
be my life‟s first and last iciest nights. I wanted to
have a look around my surroundings. But every
attempt failed. Everything had a faded look. The
sky was studded with stars but it looked as if
someone had put blurry dots of different colors on
the blackboard. My mind was not able to focus on
anything. I could just hear the sound of the truck
driver placing the orders and the shouting of the
Dhaba‟s owner. And suddenly, like a miracle
happens, everything started getting clearer, because
I saw the hazy image of a man who was walking
toward me and he was the one who was responsible
for all that was happening with me since the past
few days and all those happenings have managed to
change everything in my life. I was desperately

looking for him since the last 48 hours, because he
was the solution to my problem, he was the key to
all the riddles of the puzzle that was disturbing me.
With his coming, everything started to settle in my
mind and I got a clear vision of my surroundings.
The truck driver enjoyed his meal with desi daru
and two child laborers Chotu and Jassi served them
with a sparkling smile in the hope of getting a good
tip. Some drivers took shower at the edge of the
Dhaba and I was on the Char Pai of Dhaba. Char
Pai is a combination of wooden blocks, strong
threads, and extraordinary skill of a worker.
Wooden blocks are tied with the threads in such an
artistic way that it looks like a million dollar piece
of art for some non-Indian.

First Day Fight

Nadiad (At Sweet Home)
It was my vacation time. A week before I appeared
for my 5th semester external exam in Mechanical
Engineering. So, whenever I got some spare time, I
engaged myself in my passion of portrait painting. I
was doing a canvas painting in my drawing room as
usual with loud music being played on the TV. I
never required a calm environment to focus. Loud
music would be my companion even during my
exam preparations. So, basically, I was born with
supernatural powers, lol. I was just waiting for the
color to dry because I had completed the first stage
of painting few minutes ago and was thinking about
the next color combinations. “Tring…… Tring” my
phone started ringing, “Hello,” I said.“Bring tiffin
for me as soon as possible, Bang,” it was my
father‟s call. Putting everything on hold, I went into

the kitchen to inform my mother about the tiffin.
She prepared everything within five minutes and I
went to the factory on my black Activa, the most
sold two wheelers in India. My Activa was very old
so the black color had gone and it was more of rusty
black due to the rusty patches that were scattered
everywhere on the body. Without wasting a second,
I handed over the tiffin to the factory worker and
came back home because if my brother‟s little son
came in my drawing room, he would spoil
everything. It is a secret theory that if you think of
something negative then all negative energies would
come together to fulfill that thought of yours. He
becomes the most creative artist in the world when
he has the color brush in his hand. Canvas would be
filled with all the colors that I had on the tray and
even with those colors that I had never used and that
too in a single portrait but he was genius. I didn‟t
shout at him because it was of no use instead I
shouted at his mother, “Why you allow him to come
over? He spoils everything, who will repair it?” She
didn‟t speak a single word. I was very sensitive
about my painting and things that belonged to me
like my books, bag and cupboard. I never allowed
anyone to even touch my property because all my
things had some connections with some background
story or feelings. During my sad moments, I would
open my past and smile for a while.
