Sammy Sosa started off playing baseball in a small town. He made baseballs out of rolled up socks because they couldn’t afford balls .

Sammy had a contest to hit more homeruns then Sammy hit 66 homeruns and Mcgwire hit 77 homeruns and Mcgwire won the contest.

After the ’98 season was over Sosa was honored as a sports hero around the United States.

In N,Y,C Sosa was given a parade for being a good player and for being a good friend .

As for Sammy he would rather be remembered for his deeds on the field.

The 1998 season made Sammy Sosa a Baseball legend not only in the united states but around the world.

Sosa was not on the cubes he was on the white sox and people say “he`s the man”.

Still Sammy had so much to be happy about and his season had been the best of his career.

The cubs couldn't have done it without Sammy’s bat. He got the most hits for the Cubs.

In 1995,Sammy hit 36 homeruns before an injury cut his season short and by July of 1998, baseball fans everywhere had homerun fever.
