Mon W/B 14/01/13(Detailed Weekly Summary)

This week I listed the various tasks I would need to do to complete the project. I had to consider what tasks were needed so that all of the criteria are covered. I then transferred this information onto a schedule. The schedule will help me keep up to date with tasks and help me reschedule tasks that I haven’t completed. I have also started a mind map, which will contain primary and secondary research. This will help me with ideas for my project. The schedule has been posted to the blog, but will edited and reposted if there is a reason to.

I may continue with the mind maps next week so that I have broader understanding of what I’m going to. Also next week I will write up what I understand, gather my project ideas and list the method in which I will carry out my media product. This means the project schedule may need to changed.

This week I have continued with my mind map. I have looked into various ideas through secondary research. I have listed different forms of media and looked into the different ideas. I looked into animation and animators so I had an idea of what to do for my project.

Next week I will be working my final major project proposal. This will consist of gathering ideas, writing a proposal and if possible, making a power point.

This week I have written my proposal. I have considered the media format, the narrative, the target audience and the techniques that will be used.

Next week I will be continuing research and possibly creating a PowerPoint to go with my proposal.

This week I have looked in to inspirational animators and researched about various types of animation. I have also looked in to different idents and how they made an impact on the media industry.

I may continue with research depending on how much is done before next week. I will also create a power point for the proposal.

This week I have been researching various animation techniques and I have decided to change my idea slightly, by making it an ident. I have also made a power point which would be played

Next week I plan to start pre-production. I will start the risk assessment and story boards.

This week I have completed a risk assessment and I have created a production schedule. I have also started designing different logos for the ident. I used illustrator to make the different logos.

Instead of this week, next week will be when I will start a script and story board.

This week I have drawn up some ideas for my FMP. I have started the story boards and I am going over my pitch.

Next week I will hopefully start the production of the project and get a lot of the rough edit done.

I have started using illustrator to create my FMP. I have decided to change my idea so that I can create more advertisement for my ‘animation company’.

Next week I will continue with the production of the idents.

Final project has been completed and I have added music. I have also created a word document that shows evidence of my work.
