EMPiRE The SALVO Newsletter Study to assess cell-salvage in obstetrics We’re aware we’ve been sending you a lot of requests lately: for updated local protocols, cell saver data, CRF updates up to the end of February, data on cell salvage use outside the study… And we’re really impressed with your prompt and helpful replies, on top of your daily efforts to recruit patients. A big thank you from the SALVO team – keep them coming! Some of these requests are related to a possible extension request. Our funder has encouraged us to submit additional data to strengthen our case – we are planning to submit our request by 1st April. All your support in this matter is hugely appreciated. We’ve just conducted Site Initiation Visits at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and Whiston Hospital and look forward to activating them soon. Page 1 You’re a Star!
