Remember that these patients with placental abnormality,
who are among the likeliest to need donor blood transfusion
for haemorrhage, are therefore the group who are most likely
to benet from cell salvage. It will also give us the best chance
of showing a difference in our primary outcome which will
hopefully benet similar patients in the future!
As before, we at the trials ofce are happy to help whenever
you have any queries or issues, so never hesitate to get in
touch. And give us a follow on Twitter, if you haven’t: @kt_

TeleconferencesIf you keep up recruitment as you have, we’ll denitely make
our new adjusted target!
Thanks everyone for your timely responses to queries andsubmitting your CRFs so faithfully – it makes all difference,
and we look forward to keeping on working with you!
We will need to do the best we can to ensure that those
participants who are allocated to the intervention get as
much blood back as possible, and that we give them the
highest benet from the treatment. So wash ALL SWABS in
1 Litre Normal Saline even if they don’t look soiled enough, it
just might be enough to trigger your machine into processing.
There are new dates for our monthly teleconferences – do
dial in and exchange ideas and issue with your colleagues:
