Clear GodAll things start with God. There is one

God existing eternally in three persons(Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), having neitherbeginning nor ending. Of God, the Bible says,Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom

and knowledge of God! How unsearchable areHis judgments and unfathomable His ways! Forwho has known the mind of the Lord, or whobecame His counselor? Or who has first given to

Him that it might be paid back to him again? Forfrom Him and through Him and to Him are allthings. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.(Romans 11:33-36) The clear bead representsthe fact that we cannot see God because God

is spirit, and those who worship Him mustworship in spirit and truth.(John 4:24)

You will also notice that when you take yourbracelet into a dark place, the clear beadbegins to glow. This glowing represents theLight of Gods glory that is embodied in theperson and work of Jesus Christ, because Heis the radiance of His glory and the exact

representation of His nature. (Hebrews 1:3)This light is first seen in Genesis chapter one,

when God said Let there be light.In the gospelaccording to John, he says of Jesus, In Him

was life, and the life was the Light of men.TheLight shines in the darkness, and the darknessdid not comprehend it.(John 1:4-5)

And just as Gods glory illuminated creation,

before the sun was created, John describes howthis is also the case in heaven when he says,And the city has no need of the sun or of themoon to shine on it, for the glory of God has

illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb.(Revelation 21:23)

Blue CreationThe very first verse in the Bible says,

In the beginning God created theheavens and the earth.(Genesis 1:1) The bluebead represents the Earth, which is part ofGod's creation. The Bible speaks of The God

who made the world and all things in it, since Heis Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell intemples made with hands; nor is He served byhuman hands, as though He needed anything,since He Himself gives to all people life andbreath and all things. (Acts 17: 24-25) God isour creator and worthy of our worship.

Black Our SinShortly after God created the first man

and woman, Adam and Eve, theyrebelled against God's command and therefore,through one man sin entered into the world, anddeath through sin, and so death spread to all

men, because all sinned. (Romans 5:12) Theblack bead represents the black heart of sin thatwe all have inherited from Adam. We all knowthat we sin when we lie, steal, disobey our

parents, or break any other of God's TenCommandments, for Everyone who practicessin also practices lawlessness; and sin islawlessness.(1 John 3:4)

Orange Gods WrathBecause we have disobeyed God, Hemust punish us. After all, Shall not the

Judge of all the earth deal justly? (Genesis18:25) Every one of us has the same problem,because Among them we too all formerly livedin the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires ofthe flesh and of the mind, and were by naturechildren of wrath, even as the rest.(Ephesians

2:3) The right response is to fear God for ourGod is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29), and

The fear of the Lord is the beginning ofwisdom. (Proverbs 9:10) The orange bead

represents the fire of God's judgment andreminds you to cry out to God to rescue you,forWhoever will call on the name of the Lord willbe saved.(Romans 10:13)

Red Christ's Blood (Payment for Sin)But God, who is rich in mercy, hasprovided a way of salvation for those

who would call out to Him in repentance toward

God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts20:21) But when the fullness of the time came,God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, bornunder the Law, so that He might redeem those

who were under the Law, that we might receivethe adoption as sons. (Galatians 4:4-5)

God was in Christ reconciling the world toHimself. (2 Corinthians 5:18) Jesus lived a

perfect life, was put to death by being nailed to across, dying in the place of all those who wouldrepent (turn from sin) and believe the gospel.(Mark 1:15) This was all according to Godspurpose that He predestined to occur (Acts4:28). For while we were still helpless, at theright time Christ died for the ungodly. (Romans

5:6) But the Lord was pleased to crush Him,putting Him to grief,(Isaiah 53:10), so that He

would be just and the justifier of the one whohas faith in Jesus.(Romans 3:26) The red beadrepresents the blood of Jesusknowing that youwere not redeemed with perishable things like

silver or gold from your futile way of life inheritedfrom your forefathers, but with precious blood,as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, theblood of Christ.(1 Peter 1:18-19)

But, not only has Christ died as a sacrifice forthe forgiveness of sins, but He has also beenraised from the dead as proof that God theFather has acceptance His sacrifice. In fact, Hewas declared the Son of God with power by theresurrection from the dead, according to theSpirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord.(Romans 1:4) In the words of the apostle Paul,For I delivered to you as of first importance

what I also received, that Christ died for our sinsaccording to the Scriptures, and that He wasburied, and that He was raised on the third dayaccording to the Scriptures, andthat He

appeared to more than five hundred brethren atone time.(1 Corinthians 15:3-6)

The truth of Christs resurrection is vitallyimportant, because if Christ has not been

raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith alsois vain.(1 Corinthians 15:14) Therefore havingoverlooked the times of ignorance, God is nowdeclaring to men that all people everywhereshould repent, because He has fixed a day inwhich He will judge the world in righteousnessthrough a Man whom He has appointed, havingfurnished proof to all men by raising Him fromthe dead. (Acts 17:30-31)

White Christs Perfection and OurSalvation (Justification)The first aspect that the white bead

represents is the sinless life of Christ, who

committed no sin, nor was any deceit found inHis mouth. (1 Peter 2:22) It is by the sinlessperfection of Christ that the Bible proclaimsJesus deity. It was Christ that said, No one isgood except God alone.(Mark 10:18) And thisperfection allowed Christ to be whom Goddisplayed publicly as a propitiation in His bloodthrough faith. (Romans 3:25) This means thatChrist satisfied Gods wrath.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin onour behalf, so that we might become the

righteousness of God in Him. (2 Corinthians5:21) Secondly, the white bead represents the

righteousness that we receive from Christ'sdeath and resurrection once we have beengranted repentance (the ability to turn from sin)(Acts 11:18), and been given the gift of faith(Ephesians 2:8). Just as the beloved hymn says,Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe, sin had left acrimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

Green Growing in Holiness

(Sanctification)For we are His workmanship, createdin Christ Jesus for good works, which Godprepared beforehand so that we would walk inthem. (Ephesians 2:10) His divine power has

granted to us everything pertaining to life andgodliness. (2 Peter 1:3) The green beadrepresents the fact that a follower of JesusChrist is commanded to continually grow in their

obedience toward God, who says, You shall beholy, for I am holy.(1 Peter 1:16)

Gold Eternity in Heaven(Glorification)

In Revelation 21:21, John says, thestreet of the city was pure gold, like transparentglass. The gold bead represents the future

reward in heaven, for all those who would turnfrom their sins, in repentance, and put their faith

in Jesus Christ to save them. In John 5:24,Jesus says, Truly, truly, I say to you, he whohears My word, and believes Him who sent Me,has eternal life, and does not come intojudgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Purple Christ Is KingAnd on His robe and on His thigh Hehas a name written, KING OF KINGS,

AND LORD OF LORDS.(Revelation 19:16)

Jesus Christ is the King, and the purple beadrepresents His royalty. God highly exalted Him,and bestowed on Him the name which is aboveevery name, so that at the name of Jesus every

knee will bow, of those who are in heaven andon earth and under the earth, and that everytongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, tothe glory of God the Father.(Philippians 2:9-11)

Those who are being save will worship Himthroughout all eternity, For God so loved theworld, that He gave His only begotten Son, thatwhoever believes in Him shall not perish, but

have eternal life. For God did not send the Soninto the world to judge the world, but that theworld might be saved through Him. He who

believes in Him is not judged; he who does notbelieve has been judged already, because he

has not believed in the name of the onlybegotten Son of God.(John 3:16-18)

Knots Perseverance of the SaintsThe knots, that hold the beads on

the bracelet, represent the security found inChrist, for all those who would repent andbelieve the gospel. (Mark 1:15). The ApostlePaul said, For I am convinced that neitherdeath, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, northings present, nor things to come, nor powers,nor height, nor depth, nor any other createdthing, will be able to separate us from the love ofGod, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(Romans 8:38-39)In Psalm 139:5, the psalmist says to God, Youhave enclosed me behind and before, And laidYour hand upon me. The Apostle Paul

describes it this way: For those whom Heforeknew, He also predestined to becomeconformed to the image of His Son, so that Hewould be the firstborn among many brethren;and these whom He predestined, He also called;

and these whom He called, He also justified;and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

(Romans 8:29-30) He chose us in Him beforethe foundation of the world, that we would be

holy and blameless before Him. In love Hepredestined us to adoption as sons throughJesus Christ to Himself, according to the kindintention of His will. (Ephesians 1:4-5) And asmany as had been appointed to eternal life

believed.(Acts 13:48)

Scarlet Thread Christ Is the CentralTheme of the BibleJust as the scarlet red thread runs through

each bead of the gospel bracelet, Jesus Christ iswoven throughout the Bible from beginning toend. Jesus testifies to this when in Luke 24:27,beginning with Moses and with all the prophets,

He explained to them the things concerningHimself in all the Scriptures. And there issalvation in no one else; for there is no othername under heaven that has been given among

men by which we must be saved.(Acts 4:12)The truth is, Jesus Christ is at the center of allthings, For from Him and through Him and toHim are all things. To Him be the glory forever.
