Kiela has been a leading Dutch supplier and producer of furniture for decades specializing in modern hairdressing design furniture. We design and manufacture styling

world. Kiela’s mission is to improve hairdressers’ working environments by providing them with well thought through products and concepts. We always bear in mind that our

We develop and manufacture almost all our furnishings ourselves. This not only allows us to produce our furniture according to high quality

standards, but also to be able to supply our furniture quickly, reliably and in a wide range of styles. And importantly, our furniture can be delivered for many years to come!

Quality has always been one of Kiela’s absolute priorities. Most of the manufacturing

and assembly work is carried out at our own factory. This means that we can continually monitor

and inspect our products, from draft to finished product. And of course we buy at competitive

prices from selected suppliers in order to meet our high quality requirements. We strive for 100%

customer satisfaction. This means that, despite our best efforts, should anything be less than

satisfactory, we will do everything we can to find a solution. We give a 5 year guarantee on the

construction of our furniture, and a 3 year guarantee on electrical components.

We are one of the few manufacturers that meet the policy regulations of the

hairdressing industry of the Netherlands’ occupational health and safety board for our entire

collection. These standards that govern the equipping of salons ensure the best possible

working environment for the salon’s staff, thereby reducing absenteeism as far as possible. Our

clients can depend on us for reliable advice. Ergonomics and comfort have always been Kiela’s

starting point. After all, it is not only the furniture that has to last for years in a salon, but the

Design is all! We know like no other that the salon is the hairdresser’s flagship and

stantly working on designing innovative furniture. With our ingenious designs from the Nether-

lands, we are part of Dutch Design. Well thought out, distinctive design, but with the right ‘look

Our collection has a wide range of styling chairs, both in terms of qualities as well as in styling. Nevertheless, this is only an impression of the various possibilities that we offer

as a manufacturer of high quality salon furniture. All our chairs can be upholstered in a considerable range of colours and patterns. There is also a wide choice of supports

such as a stainless steel disc base and an aluminium star base.

All our chairs meet the occupational health and safety standards for working healthily in the salon. Furthermore, all our chairs have a five year Kiela guarantee on the con-

struction, three years on any electrical components used and these can be supplied for at least five years after production.

Shift

The Shift is a distinctive design chair. The modern, clear square shape of the

fabric excellently matches the subtle detailing of the tubular arm rest. It lends

the chair an exciting contrast.

The stainless steel arm rest is fitted with a plastic support that increases com-

fort.

The familiar Shift, however this time in a festive look on the occasion of the 75th

The combination of materials gives the Park styling chair a feeling of luxury.

There is a wide choice in artificial leather for the fabric parts of the chair. Simi-

The distinctive U-Box Barber is the successful U-Box concept’s

barber’s chair. As a standard, this modern barber’s chair is equip-

Club Zero Barber barber’s chair

This gentleman’s version of the futuristic Club Zero

really stands out. The Club Zero Barber’s curved shape

and distinctive combination of materials that use co-

lour sprayed plastics and fabrics make it a prominent

part of the salon.

As a standard, this barber’s chair is equipped with

a height adjustable headrest, an adjustable back, a

The Palco Barber is the Palco programme’s barber’s chair.

It thus has the same qualities as the Palconette styling chair: eye-catching de-

Several developments have been made in the area of wash units. While the customer wants to be washed comfortably at the wash unit, the hairdresser needs

to work without physical strain. This is why Kiela has developed a unique height adjustable mechanism for the wash basin which allows the hairdresser to quickly

adjust the basin to the customer´s neck. An electrically operated adjustable leg support enhances comfort during washing. For total wellness an option is a built-in

massage system for several wash units.

To bring uniformity in the styling concept of the salon our design team has given special attention to make wash units and chairs a perfect match.

Wellness

The Wellness wash unit programme is highly versatile given its many options

and styling choices. At the programme’s core is minimalism, without compro-

mising on comfort or quality. The moulded seat matches the Brother Sister

concept and offers good body support. The tilting wash basin ensures that

every customer can be washed comfortably.

The arm rests of the upper parts make each of the Wellness Brother,

Big Brother, Sister and Sister DeLuxe wash units different. There is also

a version without arm rests: the Wellness Sofa. This also has a moulded

seat made out of one piece with a continuous lower leg rest so that

customers can be washed while lying down. The stretched shape of this

washing unit thereby enhances the luxury lounge character.

The other four Wellness choices come with optional electrically adjus-

The standard Wellness wash unit model casing is a stainless steel frame combined with black or white plexiglass side panels.

The Aquacolumn is space saving due to its modest size and the absence of a fixed upper chair

part. A mobile cutting chair can be placed at the wash unit. Tested technology gives the basin an

adjustment range of 20 cm. The hard wearing basin, available in white or black, and the corrosion

resistant stainless steel cover ensure long lasting durability. The thermostat and the built-in shower

hose are supplied as standard.

Aquascoop Lounge

The Aquascoop is characterised by the slim design of its casing in combination with the upper part of the

chair of choice. The wash unit is produced with a unique step-free, height adjustable system for the basin.

The slanted column gives hairdressers plenty of space to move their legs and feet freely. All metal parts

which come into contact with water have been corrosion treated. Rusting will thus in effect not occur.

The Aquaplus wash unit can be perfectly combined with the chair collection. As most of the upper parts can

be attached to the frame of the Aquaplus, unity is created with the other chairs in the salon. The wash unit

may be a neutral design, but it is produced from high quality materials. The stainless steel tops at the back

and the special corrosion resistant treatment testify to this. As the wash basin can be tilted, it fits the neck

snugly.

Styling units are essential for the image of the salon. But they need to be practical too. Apart from high quality mirror, our styling units are always equipped with shelving. A

sturdy foot rest is usually standard, but, just like the hairdryer holder, is optional. The salon reflects the style and personality of the hairdresser. This is why we have a wide

choice of styling units, with great variety in HPL finishing and plenty of modern colours and patterns. Of course this also applies to the cupboards and display units that can be

combined with the styling units. Some of the styling units are available with lighting to create ambiance.

The Mood styling concept is an example of minimalist design. Simplicity and functionality are subtly combined.

New is the use of energy efficient LED atmospheric lighting. It lights up the glass panel, and creates a relaxing and

solution. Kiela designs and produces all the above mentioned furniture custom-made and in countless finishes.

Waiting in the salon is sometimes unavoidable. It is important that the customer is able

to sit comfortably and that the waiting area contributes to the atmosphere and style

of the salon.

Our waiting benches offer the customers an individual seat and they can be made from a large

number of upper chair parts. This enhances the style concept of the salon.

The Universal display program stands for stylished simplicity. The products

stand out in the displays with their clean lines and solid thick dividers.

Everything is possible, from a modern white, high gloss finish to a warm wood

design. The cupboard rests on a plinth with a brushed aluminium look. The

with a hinged glass door.

Extra storage space is always appreciated and useful in a professional working

identity. The interior is the product of creativity, hard work and close collaboration. Your personal taste is the deciding factor, but we are happy to provide advice

and be a sparring partner. If required, we can even supply you with an interior architect under no obligation. He or she will provide advice on ergonomics, space

organization, routing and, last but not least, colour and styling!
